Technically more than a week...
Ok since I last documented what I was up to, it has been more than a week, but since it has been slow going I will just bring this thing up to date.
I will have pics to show SOON.
I fabricated the rear body cross-member (withthe horns supporting the sides) and installed it, welded in new sill, new metal on the bed sides, fabbed up new passenger side and drivers side doors sills ( what a PITA profile that was) new 12 ga floor panels. the bumps in the floor near the tranny tunnel were a PITA to fab as well. all that crap is welded in and I sand blasted the bottom and interior and she is ready for primer and paint.
this week I roll the frame into the shop and start fabbing the rear crossmember and rear shackle hangers.

I rebuilt my rear brake cylinders and picked up a windshield gasket today. I'm 1 step closer to driving it n the road.
-Added an illumination kit to the instrument cluster
-Put in rear seat belts (new Texas Law)
-Replaced fuel filter
-Changed Oil

Finished knuckle rebuild, and then went directly to a Saginaw mod. All apart, and will blow a hole in the frame in the AM. Then on to the rear drums!
I get it back finally after a year with the welder. More pics to come. All I know is that the rear axle is finished, new brakes all around, front bumper, stinger, saginaw gear box are done, tranny mount is as well and the rear bumper is done.
What do I have left, weld in the supports under the body to attach to the rollbar and engine swap, exhaust and radiator along with wiring it up. Hope to ride it by the summer.

used a heat gun to try removing undercoat, worked great, traded a rollbar for a long rear jump seat (need the drivers side still), removed more old paint (getting ready for body work) and decided to dissasemble tub from frame
Went to the east coast by Daytona Beach and Ponce inlet to burn some gas...

I had an awesome week. Agent Orange, my 81 BJ42, received the following:
- a Bath inside and out
- New ground strap (last Saturday the truck wouldn't start - every time I turned the key smoke billowed out of the dash)
- New temperature gauge (as a result of said billowing smoke)
- New custom rear shackles fabbed and installed
- New LED reverse and side marker lights
- New stock licence plate holder installed
- New intake air shut off valve (Yay! An ignition that finally shuts off with a key)
- Lengthened/beefed up front drive shaft
- New battery holders
- New rear hard brake line
- New rear soft brake line
- Adjusted emergency brake cable
- Repaired headlight switch
- Drilled out rear door hinges
- Repaired rear door mechanism
- Repaired exhaust
- New extended axle breathers
- New window tint
- A partially installed ARB air locker (waiting on parts).
- a diagnosed malfunctioning 24V 8274
- And last but not least... 3 windshield wipers that for the first time work exactly like they are supposed to.
Next week she'll get her new rear shocks installed, licence plate LED lights and hopefully the 3rd can go back together so she can have a bit of welding done and pass her out of province inspection.
