Will have a review as soon as it’s on the road- note the shackle angle with just the weight of the frame(I’m happy so far, also, nothing is torqued). That’s looking good. Taking note of the Terrain Tamer’s.![]()

Beautiful garage. After a 4yr? 5yr hiatus…finally moved her into the new shop. Super excited to finally get to wrench again and have some space. Just need to get all my tools moved from the garage to the shop. Wife is happy she’s getting a garage again after 14 years.

Well done. What is the e brake handle from?5spd install 99% complete. I grafted in a FJ60 tunnel piece on to my existing transmission tunnel, I reinforced my parking brake as well as the tunnel is not as strong as it previously was. Overall from the highway it looks good. Last pic is it rolling out under its own power. I forgot to connect the rear harness, after I rolled back in I reconnected the lights. I still need to bend the transfer case lever, install an inner boot and a 5spd shift knob. Parts on order and will be installed when they arrive. Lots of work and took longer than I wanted, cant wait till I can drive it to see the difference.

Cruiser Matt and others have installed it to the left of the drivers seat. The tunnel works but does have some flex. I added some plating to stiffen it up.Awesome. I might steal this when I do my 62 series axles this winter
Gotta love it. Yesterday I ordered, and today I picked up, these beauties that I stacked in my parts shed:

Now I am one step closer to joining the 3rd Brake Light Mod Squad.Highly technologicafied MUD research has indicated that for '78 the insides should be black and the outsides grey, with many concluding that Rustoleum Dark Machine Grey is best suited, but everyone feel free to pitch in what you think is right. Other than that, I've just been driving it, and went to a local car show last Saturday. Ya'll be well!
looks like a completely different truck.Popped the top off. First time since hard top refresh 3 years ago.

I said the same thing with previous girls I’ve been with.looks like a completely different truck.
Wish I had the land and money to do the same. My wife has been complaining about our garage smelling like a shop. I told her if it’s not in the garage it’s going in a storage unit. Looks good! After a 4yr? 5yr hiatus…finally moved her into the new shop. Super excited to finally get to wrench again and have some space.
