I am not sure what all the current inquiries are all about regarding a larger capacity coolant overflow bottle ?

But , I set out to find my special OEM period correct Genuine NipponDenso ,s bigger brother I knew was a PIO / Port Installed option back in the day state. Of California ?

well , my DENSO usa rep. once again is the man …

this BIG Brother of my original factory drop down bracket kit …

does / did have a big brother , it uses the same exact OEM Toyota DROP DOWN bracket as my still oem NipponDenso compact shorter one ..

so folks looking to increase there coolant capacity are NOT saddled to drop another to break out another 2 Benjamines on a new bracket of one type or another ,,,

if. your new to my OEM late model 40 GENUINE NipponDenso bottles , them you need one and same as compact one ..

the now Benchmark 40 series coolant bottle has has more capacity then ANY other oem coolant bottle ever installed on a 40 or 55

if this is your MUST HAVE …

then u now must-have it ,....

comes with the longest overflow hose on the market today !

Will and can be mounted on either side of radiator and reach the goose neck port clear across the engine bay …FJ40 FJ55

Flushed the cooling system and added Toyota Red coolant part # 00272-1LLAC-01 and drove the 40 around while I ran some errands. I filled up with ethanol free gasoline (89) just curious what does everyone else run in there 2F? Also where does your temp gauge sit when at operating temp? I will include a pic of my cluster after driving for about 5 miles.

Thank you very much! The tires are a set of Federal Couragia 30x9.50x15in still stock suspension so I can’t go much larger yet.

Good to know that Zerex coolant is also an option. Do you know by any chance if the Toyota premix 50/50 pink cap/color is compatible with the Red concentrate?

Your gauges look to be in the same positions as my 77s at operating temperature -

I did the same thing with the mirrors, and yeah I found the idea here too. It was @roadstr6 that I saw do it first. It's held up over 3 years now, seems to be a good setup . I used factory mirror part# (87901-60011). I deviated a little and just did 1 slice with the dremel and then twisted the piece to fit it on the arm... twisted it back once it was over the ball and then soldered it back together. I can't solder or weld very good, but the end result has been okay.

My gauges also look just like that with the exception of my 50amp meter that barely moves a whisper sometimes.

That is the exact reason I did this!
My passenger side has the cracks from overtightening in an effort to get it to stay put.

Nice piece of heavy OEM goodness for not a lot of cash.

I can’t stand this plastic mirrors. I have tried to eliminate the convex view but finally found them…again, plastic. ….this is 101% for me

EDIT; ordered 2 of these at $23.24 each…it that possible?

Package arrived today straight from Japan. Wrapped up very well with brown fiber reinforced tape over every seam and around the middle. Not surprisingly it arrived safe and sound.

I have ordered from several of the overseas sources and these boxes arrive like packages of cocaine you see in the movies. It takes a Sheetrock knife to get into it

I’d say yes… although I’ve never had a Pig. They consistently break where the notch for the lock lever is cut. This will be the third for my truck in the time I’ve owned it (since 1991)

I run regular gas, which is usually 10% ethanol here. I run ethanol-free in all of my 4-wheelers, lawnmowers, and etc. but I drive my 40 a lot and it would be very expensive to run ethanol-free in that.

When I still had the stock temp. gauge, it looked just like yours. Now that I have a calibrated gauge, it sits right at 180 degrees.
