It is always cool to open a box of parts from the Toyota dealer. New rear side marker lights and drain plugs & gaskets.

There is no doubt that the rear cross member is not a very great mounting for the receiver hitch and is susceptible to bending at the midpoint. However, our off road use is on the beach. So, to the extent needed, recover should be for extraction from soft sand. You won't want to use that recovery attachment if you receiver is the common FJ40 type that bolts to, and hangs just below the rear crossmember. If your stuck and pull on it, it will bend the bottom of rear crossmember up and out. Fyi.
The kinetic strap will help a lot. So will a little digging before you try to pull out the stuck jeep you’re rescuing. There is no doubt that the rear cross member is not a very great mounting for the receiver hitch and is susceptible to bending at the midpoint. From what I’ve seen recently on a wanted form Dave Gore made them if I’m correct.Who makes/made those. Are they no longer made?
4plus, there is a thread somewhat recent about a possible production of those coming again. I may have read that @orangefj45 may have had one on the shelf in Norcal.Who makes/made those. Are they no longer made?

@lcwizard may have posted once about production is the easiest part, shipping and storage are the biggest hurdles.
Nice! Definitely better than just draining on the ground.I put a cheap Chinese overflow bottle on. It’s probably better that just draining onto the ground.
