If you have a manual prime pump on your fuel filter you can pump it a few times before a cold start and it will fire on the first crank, after glowing.

I do and I have had to before when it gets really cold. This engine has pretty low compression across the board though so firing on the first crank cold doesn't really happen

You should give a much longer glow to her.

Fixed an odd coolant leak. I believe this is an OEM part from my 76, 45 years of corrosion finally took it's toll. ☺

Is your 3B a twelve or twenty four volt diesel? South and Central America, and Australia believe were all twelve volt. Canada and Europe believe is twenty 24 bolt. As I remember yours started out as an Middle East FJ40 with a diesel transplant?

there are 5 screws that go under dash pad that will snug it up nicely

Those dash pad screws can be found at any hardware store (stainless) M5-0.8 x 14-16mm. Looks good btw!

The only difference I noticed was some sort of religious bezel conversion.

Crappy weld plug is my guess. Hard to see but there is a hole in the mounting tab on the back side. Just hoping I can get the nuts off after a good soaking.

I've never seen a lug nut used that way before!

Finally started back up on getting some hard to find and custom doo-dads developed and built.

It's taken many hours/day's/months to figure out the right ingredients and processes to make something decent.

I've got knobs, wiper motor covers, early CLEAR parking light lenses, and that little nut that holds the wiper arm in place on early 40's.

Other stuff is still in development like the vader hood, and RED parking light lenses.

I also have developed a new process that can make most items listed above in cold cast stainless steel!
Very excited about that!
It can be buffed and polished out, but also can be made black, or left stainless or almost any color!

i hatched the idea , why cant i bring back 2 DEAD OEM original 40 Series part #'s and TOP Toyota THEN and NOW and out fox them , and over engineering them once again

Toyota NEVER offered a 5pc LOCK and KEYS set for the FJ40 a reason that baffled me Now to thsi day , ALL other Toyota models from Corona to Cressida to Hilux back in the 70's and into the early 1980's offered COMPLETE however many locks were on that said model even including the locking glove box if it applied ?

well that is NO MORE ........

ALL My full 40 Series Lock SETS i offer now come with a 5th NEEDED Parts Solution Ambulance Door Lock and or a early LIFT Hatch Lock too 5PC Lock Sets are the NEW standard and here to stay ..........

a while back i Reproduced from 100%^ TOYOTA Genuine Part The badly Needed 69058-69016-R , this is the Flip Down Fuel Door Lock Cylionder Plug and Play NO MODS , , i was thinking why NOT Reproduce the entire LOCK sets by part # as they were originally Offered at one time by toyota at dealer part DEPT's USA Spec. / CANADA SPEC>

really i said , im a 1983 FJ43 Owner Operator , how would i want to be treated , to i simply said lets F'ing DO IT !
