Flipped the frame and did the last welds. Then wire wheeled it. Pretty much it's ready for paint. It's not perfect, but it doesn't need to be.
It's amazing how much more crud was removed.
The next step is to get up early for good painting...
Thanks man.
Got the frame stripped down and getting it ready for paint. The plan is to get the frame and bottom side of the tub and bed painted. Then reassemble by Sunday. Then I can do final body work and paint the top side of the body...
Painted the tailgate and the upper door roof pieces. Seam sealed the back of the tub and made a mess. It will get covered with Lizard Skin so it will hide the imperfections. Arms are tired from sanding......lol
Cleaned and painted the drip rail. It was an easy start to the day. Now it's back to the top and tub. I am hoping to have these pieces close to paint ready by the end of the weekend.

The hazard switch was not working because I built the wiring system around a non-illuminated switch and later installed an...
Thanks again for that.
Quick tip.......when I start to get burned out on a project or that phase of it. I jump around and work on other things for instant gratification. Helps keep the batteries charged.
So tonight instead of sanding and...
Picked up a hum in the trans, think its from the routing of the hose since it wasn't there before I tied everything up for exhaust. I also shoved another 4 qts of atf down it's throat to get it to full @ temp. Have a few adjustements to make on...
Bottom is primed. I actually got it done. Hopefully I can get a helper or 2 and flip it tomorrow morning. Then prime the top side.
It's happy hour.....
