I ran the 40 through this PNW touch less car wash on the road to no where.

New webbing for my seatbelts. Cleaned and painted them while they were apart. They look like brand new !

When I worked on the front belt the clock spring sprung and got away from me. Didn’t take any pics mess...

Found that you can't store sharp ended tools in your back pockets.
Installed a pair of Rixxu Camo Series seat covers (green) from Carid, SUV universal fit for $134
The installation was easy except for the passengers seat sitting on the fuel tank cover (78 FJ40LV-KCJA)
had to knot the elastic band with hooks to shorten the lengths but otherwise the covers fit my buckets like a glove.
I did not use the head rest covers and the OEM rests, I think<, matches well uncovered. Very pleased.

Nice work! Care to document how you took that buckle apart?

H41 in ! It wasnt to bad i thought it was going to be a struggle mounting it with the
Tcase attached and shoe horning the front
Input shaft through the t/o bearing, pressure plate, clutch attached then into the pilot bearing. I used a HF tranny jack and inched it
In as square as i could with the help of a buddy.

I made a helluva craigslist score today, I bought a Hayes manual for the FJ40, a 2009 SOR parts and accessories catalog, 2 Advance Adapters conversion magazines, all for $15.

Then the lady dumped glass for the hardtop sides, and a bucket of OEM and Spector parts still in the bags, OEM door plugs for the wing glass, door hinge pins, rubber gaskets for the corners of the hardtop and about a hundred other odd parts.

Then I went to the mountains.

Not a bad score.

The Deadhead sticker is a nice touch as well.

$15 for all that? You must’ve REALLY impressed this lady.......... thinking there’s more to this story that you’re not including! :smokin:

Kind of a weird story with her, they built a 73, her husband sold it out of the blue one day, a month later he passed away. She is now offloading a bunch of parts that were left over.

She has a pair of SOR window cranks for $75, if I had an extra $20 in my wallet I would have walked away with those also!

Hey but now you have a little honey hole to go back to.

I told her to text me if she finds any other parts, she said hell yeah. It helped that I showed up in my 40!
