Hey @fjgoober I finally installed the last of your handy work today! Along with a few other pieces. ;)

I finally got a chance to pull the gauge cluster so I could replace my choke cable and add some new bulbs to the cluster. This morning I added a new synthetic winch line to the 8274. Next on my list is to deal with the crummy suspension currently on my rig. Thinking 2.5" OME, currently lifted 4" and it rides like hell.

Put my hard doors back on after some sound deadening installed, cleaned up all internal components, new door seals and stoked! Also installed Racer's LED headlights. And a rear LED light bar.

Head lights mounted right in without any mods. I did buy new adjustment grommet and screws just to update. Took about 30 min from start to finish. These put off an amazing beam.

Info on the headlights please, I would like to do the same to mine. Price, where to buy?

Lost the 'old tub to new doors' striker plates I 'd gotten from Domsmith, (Thanks!!), then found them again, so , before I can lose them again, I started on that task. Warm day here for winter, nice enough in an unheated barn to work. Here's a link to his thread:

Custom door strikers- late doors to early tub

Test fitting the first plate before welding up the hoop, found the replacement screws that came with the late model hoops were too long, bottomed out in the body..

I do have two older screws so I went to put them in, first screw worked perfectly,

Then I couldn't find the other one...it was right there a second ago, didn't remember dropping it, but hey, cement floor, shouldn't be hard to find. Couldn't find it anywhere. On hands and knees with a flashlight, inside and under, sifting thru straw, getting madder and madder ...unbelievable! Over and over , up and down, inside and out, empty pockets....a couple of times. No joy.

Found it,

stuck to the magnetic clip on the back of the flashlight that I was using the whole time.
