Light bar is a 50" Curved Cree Bar that a got on a group buy at Tundratalk.net for $130 ish, I plugged the group buy in the 80's tech forum a couple months ago. The bar is divided into two main sections the edges, about 10 inches on each side, are floods while the center is comprised of spots. Each LEDs' output is rated at 300 Lumens. The approximate draw is 30-40 amps when on.

I used the mounting brackets it came with, they were cast aluminum and squared at the bottom. I had to do some grinding and shaping to the foot to make it contour correctly with the roof. Once I had them shaped I marked out the roof drilled through and used carriage bolts with the flat side inside to mount the brackets. Between the roof and the bracket I put in the included rubber isolator pad and I siliconed everything. It is very stout.

Im sure you could, You would have to make a custom mount though and IMO I don't think it would look anywhere as good pushed further back from where I mounted mine. Even though it seems scary to drill through the roof, as some see any penetration as a leak point, if you silicone your work properly there will never be an issue.

Also the way my bar is mounted it doesn't jiggle around even slightly. If you push those mounts out farther to the rail (which IMO isn't even that strong) then you run the risk of getting more jiggle in the light. Which is not good.

Modded the factory windshield washer by eliminating the rear window switching valve, softening the bends in the lines, and porting out the hood emitters. Now I have 4 solid streams of water hitting the windshield. The guys behind me on the freeway will love it almost as much as me. A well needed mod for all the mudding I do.

Drove it to work Friday. Halfway through the morning, one of my coworkers came up and said his cousin got his van stuck on the side of the road. I was too busy to do anything right then, so tossed him the keys and showed him the strap & D-rings. He came back wanting one.

Only problem was, when he first got there, the cousin started unspooling the winch, and they didn't know how to get it back in.

You stated "porting out the hood emitters", did you just drill them out to become one?

meant to post up last week but have been too busy. drove the cruiser from seattle to atlanta in 4 days, averaging 75-80 mph the whole trip. Was getting around 12 mpg (i have stock size tires, and the tjm 50mm lift)--thank god for the drop in gas prices. first time driving that kind of distance for me, and certainly for the cruiser. great driving experience. the shane's leather, new seat cushion, and heated seats were welcome parts of the trip.

I did some miscellaneous wrenching this weekend, and a little bit of dirt road rallying.

Completed:
-Hand throttle install
-CDL switch install
-Replaced rear dome light
-Replaced thermostat
-Replaced heater valve
-Replaced #2 and #3 radiator hoses

Still no heat in the cabin. Rear heater works but I'm starting to fear that my heater core is plugged up for the main cabin heater.

Just opened them up a little. Before it was like a mist not I have volume.

Hmm, good question - not sure, but definitely not a lot, I carried all the pieces into the shop under one arm.... I'll weigh it once it's all together...
