Had enough balls to cut the rusted rear x member, and started bolting on my new home brewed bumper brackets.
Shes bumperless ru.ight now and I got a long way to go still ...:)

So I had a chuckle on Monday reading this to a co-worker cruiser nut.... Got home Monday night to a text from him that my tail light was out..... I didn't wait to be told by the PD and changed it out tonight!

If I've been able to reach one person, then it was worth it. :p

Got a little rain in Cali today!

This pic was on weather .com but they called it a Jeep!! Ugh

Removed the front seats, shampooed and vacuumed the carpet; detailing the interior will continue tomorrow. Fixed a stuck passenger front seat slide, installed OEM in dash cup holder and hood prop rod, also sealed the factory rack mounting holes in the roof. I replaced a damaged grab handle and sun visor and removed the 3rd row seats and all the associated parts.

How does .5-1" of rain per hour get that deep? And only 4" total. Poor sewer system out there? Bizarre.

That area drains a huge watershed. It happened in 1981 as well. I lived near there for 28 yrs.

Changed engine oil and filter, both diffs, transfer case, rotated tires, greased birfs, ujoints, and driveshafts.

Lots of metal shavings in my front diff this time, but I have no noise or chatter at all. I'm chalking it up to a couple hard days wheeling???

Changed oil and filters today on the Cummins and the International 7.3 and will be sending oil samples from both to Blackstone Labs for testing. I used my new "special tool" to loosen the Cummins oil filter through the DS wheel well. Worked great.
