Not all this last weekend but I've been making progress on getting ready for a upcoming trip
Over the last month or 2:
-New 37×13.5r18 bfg km3s
-Water pump, timing belt, rad hoses, thermostat, rad flush, rad flush, rad flush lol
-Confirmed oil pressure was good, 26 psi at idle, 67 at 3000rpm (dang gauge cluster had me all worried with it's wonky readings)
-Set the valves
-differential/transfer case oil change,
-built a bed platform, set up fridges underneath, and made some window shades for the sleeping area
-new tie rod end
-had the clear coat freshened up and remove almost all scratches

Still to do:
Replace A/c compressor
Install prinsu roof rack/pelican cases
Probably a few other things I'm not remembering as well

How are you getting the shades to stay put on the glass ? Do you have any photos of the frame you made to hold the mattress ?

Here's the frame, I built it out of aluminium tubing, 1 1/2"x1" 1/8 wall. Covered with 5/8 plywood cut to match the curves of the interior. The frame anchors to a 4 spots.

As for the screens I bought some little suction cups off Amazon. In the pictures they are just sitting in place kind tucked into the window. They actually stay in good quite well without the suction cups but I'll still use the cups for a secure fit.

I switched out some OME 850j/863 springs for the C59-170/171 dobinson equivalent. Installed all new rear suspension rubber, delta panhard lift bracket, rear spring retainers, and did the bear80 adjustable rear panhard rod.

The change in lift measured from center hub to bottom of flare is as follows:
front:
LH 22 3/4” to 23 3/8”
RH 23” to 23 5/8”

Rear
LH 22 3/4” to 24 3/8”
RH 22 7/8” to 24 1/4”

Almost two years after installing the new lift I took the cruiser in for an alignment/caster reading to see how things looked. Not bad.
These are dobinsons C59-170/171 springs
Landtank 2.5” caster plates.
I did the toolsrus alignment in the driveway not long after getting new tires.
Bottom of Fender flare to center hub measurements are now:
LF 23”
RF 23.5”
LR 24”
RR 24.25”

I do have a decel groan with this combo. I had it with a stock driveshafts/new ujoints. And still have it with a front Landtank double cardan. Any ideas on what I should check next?

The camber suggests either a bent axle housing or worn trunion bearings.

Lovely. :-(

The camber spec is +.25 degrees to +1.75 degrees. It's not adjustable from the factory. I have seen aftermarket offset trunion bearings. Fitting them correctly is another matter.

Thank you for the replies. I’m pretty sure I replaced the trunion bearings last rebuild. I’ll have to check my notes.

It could also be loose wheel bearings. You are not off by a whole lot. Jack the front end off the ground and grab the tires at 6 and 12 o'clock and see if the tires rock back and forth. They shouldn't

No detectable play in the bearings.

Went for camp trip and went on my brother's "easy" trail. I guess it WAS easy before the 4 days of torrential rain and in his Can AM SxS. Very narrow, but the old 40th took it all in stride... the shadows got me and I de-fendered the passenger side to match the drivers side. The 2 Samurais with us were very little help after the front diff became buried in the mud... a few logs and we were able to back out and take a better line.

Just new seat covers over here. I had Specter off-road on the last 80 series and I really liked them for fit and finish. Thanks @chubbybunny . Sewed up the little seam split with some upholstery thread and fitted them. Next thing for seats is order the seat gears from Gamiviti. @nakman
