Ordered up some new tires. Will be moving the Kenda Klever MT2s to my son's minitruck and the Cruiser is getting these Maxxis Razr's.

Same size tire (37x12.50R17) but the Kenda only measures a hair over 35" which was disappointing. The Maxxis measured 36.8" so it will be nice to be back on a true 37 again.

In other news, I've got the Prinsu rack etc off the top of the truck for a bit for some cleanup and refresh. The whole truck needs a bit of cosmetic love after being neglected for most of the year.

Never mind I’ll make my own.
Go for it. Make sure to share pictures.

I had mine cut same as stock from abs plastic, then recovered with the factory fabric and fittings. Works well, but I really like the looks of these aluminum ones, especially with the molle slots.

I think $750 for a set is very fair.

When they need it for sure. I’ll probably just pick up some 22 gauge and trace the card, rivnut the the holes and button head the mounts.

Was the 24 valve motor an option in 91? I thought it was all 12 valve 1HD-T.

Something every day.

No it was not, it was released in 1995.

Cheers

Probably not the original sticker on the back of the tailgate then.

In other news, I might have figured out where some of the steering lack of precision is coming from in the 80.
I pulled the Panhard rod to do the bushes, and noticed this.....

Some assembly (welding) required.

I own a fabrication shop, so it won't look like that for long. Pain in the arse to get at though. I'm contemplating taking the cap off the end of the pipe and fitting a piece of round bar inside to stiffen the joint up a bit.

Just cut it all off like I did! 😂
