Yeah, those definitely should have been laid out in order along with the cam caps (which are fortunately labeled). Once the head is off, the buckets and cams need to be loosely assembled to the head before sending to the machine shop.
Thanks for the advice. So was planning on just dropping the head of do they need the cams also?

Did you label your cam buckets? Looks like they are tossed in a bag... If not and so, your shims are now all mixed up and you will need to have them measured and set.
They are labeled with a paint pen!

Right now I’m doing this. My son is doing his first valve adjustment on his 06 CRV, 😢

Quick changing of the water valve assembly. Looks like it was about that time. I'll keep it in the rig as a trail spare.

Well I picked up a free 2019 Tacoma TRD muffler last week with the hopes or replacing my garbage rusted out aftermarket muffler from the PO. And im happy to say it not only fit but is so quiet I didn't hear them pull it out of the bay 20 feet behind me. Im so happy with how it sounds and the work done and a toyota muffler that will outlast just about any aftermarket one.

Finally made the move to 35’s. Now I look at it and can’t believe I had smaller tires before. It fits perfectly with my current height.

Also added a resonator to quiet down my turbo exhaust a bit. Did not get a pic of that yet.

Finally got around to installing these ..... the drawers are awesome !! The tailgate storage I probably wouldn’t do again. I feel the storage gained isn’t worth cutting the gate apart. It definitely isn’t as strong and the lid flexes a lot when you sit on the gate.

I learned...
...while picking up all the snipped off LED's that fell to the carpet while rebuilding the third brake light ... and finding a shiny ball bearing in the process...
that evidently,
the steering box doesn't need all the balls it comes with to function. At least not on this particular '93 unit.
Obviously this isn't acceptable and I'll get it back in there asap. Just
On the flip, the 3rd brake light turned out well enough.
My 93 has the same issue with the 3rd brake light. Any particular mud forum thread you recommend?

Yeah. . But looks great.

Desperately needed to change out my radiator. Did the belts while I was in there and was also due for an oil change. I really wanted to switch over to Toyota red, but didn’t feel like going through the extensive flush to get all the green out.

Switched over to Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5w-40. Was previously using Shell Rotella 5w-40.
