And, spraying complete. Raptor color tinted to Toyota 1A6, Moonglow Pearl. It's pretty darn close to the original color, near as I can tell. Can't wait to see it dry.

Nice! Very interested to see the results of the tinted raptor since my truck is the same color

Nice, how do you like the 3" of uptravel you now have?
I haven’t hit the bump stops yet around town. I’m sure I will when Offroad.

Packed up all our personal stuff and did a big ol' caravan move from New Mexico to Montana. 3 days straight of towing up the unending mountain grades of New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and finally Montana made me pretty proud of the truck, but holy crap is it exhausting. Pretty sure I exceeded the max tow raing of my 80, and I can't imagine having done so with the stock petrol motor.

Nice! Glad the trip went well. Where in MT was your end destination?

It's looking very close, it even has the metallic look of the original paint. Now hopefully I did an adequate prep job and it lasts 20 years.

I know popular thought here is to turf them, but I'm keeping the flares AND trim. :flipoff2:

Butte! My wife's a physician and took a job at St. James. I went to school at UM and have been scheming on getting back for 20 years, very excited to actually have it happen!

only trips out for the past 4 weeks have been to the grocery store . Drove to the Salt Lick in Driftwood for curbside service and found a picnic table to sit and eat. What a great day!

Finally got around to installing a CDL switch and the pin 7 mod. Lesson learned: 1993 plastic is brittle. Very brittle.

On a related note: does anyone know the part numbers of the screw and especially the plastic blue nutsert? They're the ones found on the left and right side of the ashtray, holding the "PANEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH, CENTER" (Part No.: 55412-60010) in place.

Been so busy the last couple of months and neglected the 80 series too much. Decided to disassemble the malfunctioning ARB compressor. Pretty intresting what's inside there. If your compressor is mounted in the engine bay, I highly recommend to extend your air intake for the compressor, if you don't want to have a mudpressor like I have now. Unfortunately it's completely worthless to restore it, spare parts cost as much as a new compressor.
