Yea Im interested in what you really think once in hand, I do like the rear seat delte carrying over to the rear drawers and Im guessing you could build off rear drawers if needed, but the weight always scares me, as shes heavy already. like a fat ballerina.
Here's a couple images I have found of the sleeping platforms for the second row. These are not in 80s ( in 4runners) but should give an idea of how these are setup from goose gear.

took my 17 yr old son to a friends farm for some target shooting and quad bike riding, he had shot a .22 before, but enjoyed having a go with the bigger 45/70, 303, 30-06 and 12G. Did a oil change before the 1000km round trip but couldn't find any problems with the cruiser that needed fixing, sat on 110kmh (68mph) cruise control, there and back without fault.

Diggin' that old Enfield with the rabbit ears sights. which rifle is in the second picture it looks like an American Springfield from WWI.

Trying - they seem to be saying it should be on auto but auto is saying its renters... they're both the same company so i'm a bit frustrated.

driveway, behind the house. Essentially where most peoples back yards would be.

That's what makes me a bit sick is knowing someone was planning that. There's no way with it's tucked back location that it wasn't somewhat planned.

Thanks all. s***ty way to start the day. Keep an eye on your facebook market/craigslist/offerup/forums for any Trail Tailor RTTs! My guess is it'll be sold off at some s***ty flea market or something.
Meth heads probly

Got a CB antenna (firestik) and mount from a 80 part out in Chimayo NM that @CaptClose and I picked over. The place was sketchy. They guy was stoned. Twilight in many ways. Just installed it. A tad too tall. I think I have reception with the space station. I would not doubt it that the guy who owned it was a drug mule and needed good coms for his shakedowns. Ordered a 3’ one from amazon. 😩

Woke up to go to work and realized something was missing.

Someone stole my RTT while I was sleeping. Motherfuckers. If anyone sees a Trail tailor rooftop tent for sale online (probably in the PNW) LET ME KNOW.
Looks like this when open:

That totally sucks! One reason i don't like to have a lot of accessories on the truck when I don't need to. Some friends passing through town had all their bikes stolen off their rig, parked right in front of the house. We estimated they were taken within about a half-hour time window during the night. I had warned them not to leave them out there, but the said, "Oh, they're locked..." It doean't matter.

And the cops are useless.

:meh:

Finally took it off pavement. Next step is to actually go wheeling.

I’m gonna get to do my front brakes. I’m guessing the caliper is locked up. It went from no noise to terrible grinding on the way home yesterday.

Be sure to check the wheel bearing preload as well. Loose bearing preload can cause all kinds of unexpected brake noise.

Looks like he will be resetting preload after the rotor are turned or replaced.

Wiped down the engine bay and installed a Scan Guage 2.

Hit a milestone in it somewhere in the middle of Kansas. This IS a milestone isn’t it??? Lol

Anyway, I’m on the way from Ohio to Colorado for MountainBike nationals.

I plan to stay an extra 5 days to do some exploring in CO and UT with a buddy who is driving out a few days behind me in his heep.

Got any close ups of how your awning is mounted? I've got a similar setup but your looks lower profile.

A million thumbs up on the "stop geotagging" sticker. I think I'll get one too.

what is given free is not always appreciated or respected - my interpretation

Why? What's that about?

Cliff notes: Millenials on instagram go to beautiful and delicate natural places in the wilderness, then drop a location marker in their beautiful photo. Then thousands of other millenials on instagram go to the same spot and overrun it with trash and human waste, basically ruining it forever.

Now I understand. I guess for me to re-find a place I like it makes sense, but I would not have thought about the after-effects of doing that with all the social media.

I taught Scouts how to geocache and how to log their favorite places, but that's been 8-10 years ago. Times evolve.....
