I think so. I believe there are two under the throttle body. One is the PHH. I have never changed the other one.

That's a fun place. I haven't been back since owning the 80 but probably need to. Only a 4 hour drive + whatever ATL throws at me.Chocolocco! Camped out and wheeled with a Rover buddy, man that Disco is pretty impressive. Tried some of the harder stuff he went through and with a few tries I’d make it.. really considering putting the Aussie locker in the rear soon

I could have guessed for some reason you had a shipping container garage. You rule.
I was thinking we don't have no stinkin' sunroof. I assume that door will not open @Box RocketPatches!?
We don't need no stinking patches!!

Actually the sunroof opens and works just fine, even with the patches.I was thinking we don't have no stinkin' sunroof. I assume that door will not open @Box Rocket
Aussie locker will be a nice, inexpensive mod. I had one in the rear diff of my '93. They work great in these trucks. Also, your Rover buddy doesn't get credit for going that far up the ramp since his front tire is about a foot off the ground.Chocolocco! Also, your Rover buddy doesn't get credit for going that far up the ramp since his front tire is about a foot off the ground.Your LX flexes better than that Disco. If he's got lockers in it, I'm sure those hard lines you guys were doing would have been you pulling him through if he had open diffs. In a moment of weakness I actually owned a Disco for a while. Ack! never again. No comparison to an 80.
FWIW, when I put the Aussie locker in my '93 my wife was using the truck as a daily driver. I was initially a bit concerned about her driving it if it had weird road manners. It was totally transparent and the truck drove exactly the same on the road with the exception of the ratcheting noise when turning. I was really impressed with it. Excellent road manners and locked up exactly how you'd want on the trial. Its a great park, my first time there actually! We did a few of the tough trails that hadn’t been torn up by buggies but the drive wasn’t bad. Luckily I live down in Fayetteville so I don’t fight ATL traffic
Yeah he has a Detroit locker in the rear and lsd up front, 2 inch lift and 1 inch coil spacer to fit 35s. Doesn’t rub and surprisingly very capable. I’ve got an Aussie locker boxed up in my room, just wanted to get another daily driver before I put it in. With the rear locked I don’t think I would had a hard time with anything we did!
I have a spartan in the rear of mine but have had a similar experience. The supposed 'complete change in road manners' talk on here and many other forums has not been my experience at all. Outside of 1-2 loud bangs in tight parking lots throughout the time I've had it in the truck (a little over a year) I have not even noticed it in there. IMO about the best bang per buck mod available.FWIW, when I put the Aussie locker in my '93 my wife was using the truck as a daily driver. I never had any loud bangs with my Aussie in 5 years of use. Very smooth performance.I have a spartan in the rear of mine but have had a similar experience.
