Got after the valve cover gasket on Tuesday/Wednesday, and got one visor swapped out. Both visors were $13.09 at my local pull-a-part. May go back for the wood grain steering wheel. :poof:

For one seat I would say 4ish hrs for removal, taking leather off and installing new leather. @BILT4ME

Good god I tried just the rear seat and gave up. I still haven't even opened up the Lseat vacuum sealed bag. Its not that its "too" difficult, but you need to be gentle to not tear up the foam and the rods going through that foam. I was able to find a local guy that will do both fronts and rears for $700 cash and a case of IPA.

I wish I had the patience like you to finish.. but I would lose my nerve and start forcing and tearing. Good for you! Good luck on the rest!

How do I get the full size pics to show up?

Backwards before forwards ... AC compressor, idler pulley, belt tensioner, all radiator hoses, transmission cooler hoses, thermostat, power steering hoses, dizzy o-ring, oil pump gasket and valve cover gasket all getting replaced.

I think these may be the issue, but really not sure. PO "fixed" these prior and one of the hoses seems like it may be nicked.

Have a nasty leak on the driver's side front of some sort. Seems to be spraying all over that side ... any ideas? If it's oil, its a really fine mist and it coated the front of the engine. up the drivers side in line with the belts and even left a mist all over the intake runners and underside of the hood.

Rounded off the locking bolt for the AC compressor adjuster :bang:

IRWIN removal tools FTW!!

Found a few hornets nests and a grasshopper during disassembly.

Looking at the pics cass007 posted of the fixed lines with double worm gear clamps,if anyone feels the need to do this make sure the worm gear is at least 90 degrees off the other clamp,180 would be ideal

I’m being a poor example without gloves and sleeves :)

Pulling it all together now ;)
Thanks Joey, really appreciate your time and good help earlier this week.

I'm pretty happy to be leaving the CO2 tank at home from now on...one less bulky thing to pack and secure against going ballistic.

Next step: Integrate a 3-slot coin controller for trailside payment, and remind my wheeling buddies to bring rolls of quarters. I'm gonna be rich!

Replaced my rear hatch struts and sway bar bushings. I attempted to wrap my hood in flat back but about 3/4 if the way done I really messed it up so I ripped it off. I'll just pay a pro.
