coated it with Chassis saver
Nice! I did the exact same thing with mine when I first bought my 80 in Kansas (Salty winter roads)... I did both rear sliding windows, and the rear hatch glass because I saw the beginings of rust residue/staining starting to seep out from under the molding gaskets. I also did the entire underside of my 80 with a pneumatic spray gun. I love magnet paint products!... I busted my glove and got chasis saver all over my hand... took three days for me to finally get it all off, LOL! I've never seen adhesion like that before. That stufff works!

Worked installing my lift: OME J Springs & OME L Shocks

I really like JDM window vents. They are on my wish list. Had them on my 70 Series and thought they were so cool.
they appear to be very well made, and the little clips inside that help keep them in place is sweet. a PIA but sweet.

got them thru a mud member @jdmtoyota

I have the tough dog 2" lift and need castor plates but not having any luck with wits end to find out which ones. Which did you go with? What was your castor before? Thanks

I used the 5° ToughDog plates I got from @reevesci. I have no idea what my caster was before my lift. My old suspension had dropped by almost 2" so not sure taking a before and after measurement would have been relevant. Why wouldn't you just use the 2.5" plates from @NLXTACY (80 Series Caster Correction Plates- 2.5in.).

Installed hammock hooks to my Inti rack.

Did absolutely nothing to the truck this weekend as I have asked enough of it over the past few weeks and it deserved a break. I did however pull my protective seat covers to wash and conditioned the leather... and post some pics in another thread ;).

Also ordered some pint glasses from @NLXTACY for #6.

I have two red tops from early 2011 still starting my Cummins reliably. I have read some unfavorable comments about the Optima’s since Johnson Controls took the plant to Mexico in 2009. Guess we lucked out or maybe the bad ones are not so many.

No 80 series content, but I finally had a moment to share a few pics from the Baja 1000 a couple weeks ago. I was chasing with Canguro Racing again in their 200 series. Awesome race again, but came up short of the class win by 15 min. 2nd place two years in a row. Big highlight was meeting Ivan Stewart and having him sign the truck. Good times!
