Arm chair wheeling mud grammar police, the struggle is real.

Haha no I didn't have them made...

If you have a lifted truck tall jack stands are worth the cash. I bought these for my 40 build. They are tall enuf to use on the rear 40 cross member with 36" tires off the ground.

If you want to keep the outer sheetmetal, try and find a radiator core support and inner fender, they bolt right up and will help align the outer sheetmetal.

I’m just trying to save it all at this point so I can pocket about $3K from the other driver’s insurance. If I can’t get it close, I’ll replace, but for now...

....this has to come out and up.

My creative pulling tool at the primary punch in point that conveniently has a hole in the sheet metal and also lines up to the signal light hole...

We’ll see...waiting for my hand winch pull anchor rig to get home.

Also, anybody know if the hood hinges are adjustable, mine is pushed up, but doesn’t seem bent unless it’s inside the assembly. The hood is up and forward on this side and the support piece is up as it enters the hinge opening.

@Nay Yes, they are adjustable, but your'e probably too early in the pulling process to start adjusting the hood hinges. Use the hood as a guide to get the core support back in place first. Also, remember to measure diagonally across the the engine bay from the rear fender bolt of one side to the front bolt of the other side. That will tell you how close you are to being square. Getting is square should be the first goal

If you can get the upper half good, then you are good to go. It is thin sheet metal, so a little motivation with a hammer or that high lift and it will be ok. The cool thing is that you have the other side as a guide, and all the bolts and their respective holes help line it up. Its entertaining to work on!

So its not the weekend but I installed the superior engineering super flex arms, I really like the that fact that I dont have to grind anything so the slee TRE bar clears, these leave plenty of room, I also finished installing the corbeau seats, I got the mounting brackets but still had to chop weld and grind them but now they fit, and finally got the on board air up and running outlets on front and rear now with the airtank under the truck.

Just finished tapping more extrusions for tbe Bowfin Cruisers 80 series roof racks going out next week. Got some stainless goods from my laser cutter including the "care package" key chain/bottle openers.

Had to test one out.

You should be beaten for resting that wussy beer on a 40 Series! I hereby cure you with a blown HG! For shame!

Speaking of Bowfin Racks... ;)

I got the solar panel nestled down below the crossbar level so I can still use the full rack when needed. Next up is L-track runners down the sides for tie-down points.

Additionally - found out the rack runs through the auto carwash just fine. The operator looked at it for a bit, shrugged, and let it through. Worked out fine.
