You’re one of few and I absolutely appreciate it. On that buy I had no-shows too but it’s ok. Don’t get me wrong, I still do group buys, have a new product coming in October, but I have learned that it’s not just build it and they will come. If you can build or make something cool and people want a few that’s awesome. I build because I enjoy it and truly feel like I’m making an impact. Which is opposite of making money. And I’m ok with that sometimes. :)
Im a heavy fellowship fellow craftsman supporter. If its serious Ill take one. lol Ive upgraded an already upgraded fzj but its all functional. I turned a serious trail capable rock climber etc into same but with overlanding skillz.

Ran the Rubicon with Devin, my deceased son's best friend since first grade. He is 21 and a security officer at an AFB near you. It was probably my best trip over Rubicon ever and I've done it many times since 1990. We send youngsters to protect us, so let's do our part to get them ready.

On September 7 I purchased a 1997 dealer outfitted turbo charged 80 series. Today I made it to the department of motor vehicles and finally put it in my name. I was able to avoid an emission test and get plates and tags good till 2022 at a total cost of $112.88 :flipoff2::moon:

Why so expensive?

I drove from Austin down into Houston yesterday, helped a friend extract his 80 year old dad and his two dogs. I offered my LC in case we needed to drive through water, we strapped a canoe on top if it was needed to reach his dad's house. His dad had lived in the house since 1982 and for the first time had water in the house, about 8", on Sunday. By the time we got to his house yesterday it had receded and we did not need canoe, just hard to find routes in and out of town. I felt pretty good after getting his dad and dogs and finding a way out, but since late last night and early this morning I feel very guilty as I realize we should have taken more supplies to donate and stayed to help others. We didn't really plan it out well since it was spur of the moment after hearing his house had water, if I had thought about the overall situation I could have done more to help others. Kind of a screw up on my part. My friend is at least more at ease knowing his dad is safe, his mom had passed away just a couple months ago so his dad is dealing with a lot between that and house flooding.

The damn thing better drive itself where I want to go and allow me to be in the back making a sammich for that kind of a price!

It better do a whole lot more than that for that kind of money...

Good on you for helping out! It is normal to feel guilty for "not doing enough". That means you're a good person. But if everyone helped just one person these types of disasters would be much less prolonged.

They are even worse. The UNICAT conversions start at $1M and go to $3M.... But they are badass!

Hey, if that's all you can afford…

I was on these flats heading back from scorpion bay/San Juanico on day 4 on my xr650. It was super slick back in January. Any chance you stopped at El Datil? Those little villages blew my mind.

took my two boys out for a little desert driving practice and shock testing. Stage4 Slinky kit continues to impress.

Anything for an excuse to beat the crap out of a truck and have fun!

It's all in the name of "research!"

Hope you don't get a bent front axle out of it!

I might play hard but I don't beat the crap out of my truck. When you have the right equipment you can avoid a lot of issues.

Saw this not too long after we got back from extracting my friends rolled rig

When I want to jump I use the right tool for the right job and its not a Land Cruiser YMMV
