I thought about something similar a smaller more offroad worthy camper, and a 3/4 ton truck with a nice lift, but eh I can sleep in a tent. lol.

Or just do this and buy a couple houses:

You heathen! A tent!! :P

Washed and wheeled in that order. Installed ARB differential breathers.

This week I pack up and head west to South Dakota to meetup with friends. If anyone knows any great rides around Custer let me know.

I was hoping to have my long waited Prinsu rack but after 11 weeks I found out that they are back ordered still.

Passed!

I just went to their website. $1.5 MILLION for the XD version! And it's still a Ford...

And to think you thought I might be exaggerating.

Did I mention the owner couldn't have been 40 years old? Why have i been forsaken????

"With great wealth comes great responsibility" (or something like that). I enjoy my lack of responsibility every day :D.

I enjoy that I own a $5K 80 as my DD and I guarantee I get as much or more satisfaction out of my 80 as I would out of a $500K rig. I also take pride in learning to diagnose and fix most any system on my truck. While I take care of my truck, I also don't sweat dings and drilling a hole in it for mods. I doubt most Earthroamer owners can make the same claim.

Earthroamers are a beautiful creation (I had an owner give me an extensive tour inside and out a few years back) but my 80 can take me on a great many more adventures in life. To each their own :meh:.

I also take pride in learning to diagnose and fix most any system on my truck.(working on this, but getting moderately better) While I take care of my truck, I also don't sweat dings and drilling a hole in it for mods. (totally agree) I doubt most Earthroamer owners can make the same claim. (or they have enough money to A. not care B. get it fixed by someone else)

My comments in bold above.

Rather have one of those Unimog camper conversions myself, ya wouldn't worry too much about scratching a rig like that up.

They are even worse. The UNICAT conversions start at $1M and go to $3M.... But they are badass!

Most important mod yet.....car seat. Mission accomplished - healthy mom and son home safe from hospital!

I'm learning quick that sleep is overrated. Guessing future LC mods on hold for a bit, and I am perfectly OK with that.

Congrats Man, good for you.

To keep it technical, where did he or she reroute the breather tubes to?

I really need to reroute my breather tubes one of these years.
all my breather are attached to a lil manifold from pirahna offroad and mounted near top of aux battery box high as i could get em ./

No, not typically. If you make them you will plan on it being a charity project or community service. For the 50 people who say I want one when you finally have a batch of 10 available they will either be no-show or complain the price is too high and they can make it cheaper. Ask me how I know, or find my threads on tool bag I offered, or cup holder, or arm rest, or...
Yea ironically your the only Im In I muffed, i totally forgot as someone gave me two australian anderson hookups. But Im a shooper no doubt as long as it makes sense.

which is why I bought some hannah steel and welded one up myself. back order is crazy unless you want an ARB

You’re one of few and I absolutely appreciate it. On that buy I had no-shows too but it’s ok. Don’t get me wrong, I still do group buys, have a new product coming in October, but I have learned that it’s not just build it and they will come. If you can build or make something cool and people want a few that’s awesome. I build because I enjoy it and truly feel like I’m making an impact. Which is opposite of making money. And I’m ok with that sometimes. :-)
