Finally got most of the install done on my Wits End disconnect. I had to do some other work in the area of the battery box to try to make it nice. Bought a new Interstate group 27f Megatron battery, not an easy item to find. Had to redo a bit of my wiring too to try to roll with the work @NLXTACY did. The big new cables were a bastard to get in but I made it. Still have to wire up the underhood lights, the temp guage, and figure out my winch wiring but it is finally getting there. The disconnect is a sweet piece of hardware.

Drove back from Spring Break. Cruiser did great as usual except the engine all of a sudden turning off on the highway, and the brake booster started whooshing in Durango. We put an order in for one to be sent to Moab. Replacing it didn't take half an hour and the brakes were back to normal. We did some skiing out at Purgatory, biking in Durango, Cortez, Moab, and Fruita, and some wheeling in Moab. Upon arriving home, we tested quite a few things to see if we could get to the bottom of the vibration happening on the passenger rear corner. Looks like a mix of new rear control arm bushings and shocks should solve that issue.

replaced driver side seatbelt and kids cleaned up the inside then off to DQ. I did not take quite the same route as Hicruise55 but wish I could have.......

Underhood led...this is the small light too, they were out of the longer one almost double length

Instructions and part numbers anywhere? As my eyes get older they seem to need more and more light to do anything. I find myself wasting twenty minutes every time I try to do anything just trying to get light in the right places

Got some new tires, passenger seat manually adjusted back, new bulbs all around, a good wash, oil changed, new TREs, and an alignment.

Was forced to take a break from recovering my front seats in new leather and adding seat heaters and new foam...

so that I could fly out to meet my wife for an extended weekend in Seattle, where she was working all last week. We decided to go check out the mother of all REI stores and were greeted by this awesome 62 that they had set up right at the entrance!

Been sorta putting the 80 on the back burner as my new 60 series has been the new project car but I attempted to figure out what's causing a hard start issue and a vibration this weekend. No luck. Will hopefully get it resolved once I have time over spring break.

Meanwhile I did work on my 60 series rebuilding the carb and replacing hoses. I love that thing.

And for the first time this year my dad brought his 40 out from storage and we had 3 gen of Land Cruisers at our house. Was kind of fun to look at them all and look the evolution.

I've been needing a "stop gap" solution for my seats until I can afford new leather. Actually my front seats are not terrible, but the 2nd row was starting to split in a couple places. I sprung for the crazy expensive Cabelas Trail Gear covers. That was a hard earned $60 for both fronts and middle row. Fit isn't awesome but isn't horrible either.
