it's the loudest suspension i've ever had. seems like the front springs need a rubber insulator like the rear has (factory, not slinky supplied). still waiting on front shocks, but otherwise, high speed is amazing. sucked up bumps like nothing. rig leans, but i forgot the australian drivers side/right hand thing when installing and the fronts were such a bitch i figured i'd fix that when the shocks come in...had i known it would take so long, i would've done it right away, hopefully reversing those will level it out.and.....?
That is a s*** load of switches my friend!Installed upper block of buttons instead of OEM compas. Why compas now - everybody have GPS.
On the up side I have
1) Air horn. On - air horn will work with OEM, Off - only OEM.
2) Air compressor autmatic on 6 bar - off 8 bar. I use Nardi compressor 215 L\min.
3) On-off AC\DC convertor 220v 350 Watt for charging different stuff and for laptop use.
4) Two way fuel heater( I have diesel and we have some times -50 celcius degree. ). One - only separator heater, second push - separator and intake tube in fuel tank.
5) Front roof rack light
6) Back roof rack light.
7) (hidden) on\off daylight lamps
Center console instead of front heater gril that i never use.
1) Activate wind\unwind button for rear winch. Button with block knob.
2) Pumping from sub fuel tank
3) Activate low preassure from my onboard air to take a preasure into winches, axles, wheel hubs and knuckles to prevent water get into them while crossing the rivers.
4) Activate wind\unwind button for front winch. Button with block knob.
2 buttons to wind\unwind for winches. I use oem buttons from power antenna. From the left and from the right of the rear heater button (not in photo)
Right console where oem Foglight and headlamps washer are. 2 Buttons:
1) Front 240wt bumper ledbar.
2) Surround weak lights made from LED lines( front and rear winches, underhood lights, roofrack lights).
Console with 2 additional lighter sockets and Sub tank meter.
Console on the right side of the armrest contains 2 AC sockets, 2 lighter sockets to rear passangers, 2 USB sockets for rear passangers, 1 USB socket for driver. 4 electromic meters: voltmeter, T-meter for ATF tempereture, T-meter for outside temp, T-meter for fuel temp after last fuel filter.

Exactly! I went to Land Between the Lakes and tried out the Turkey Run Off Road park there; nothing but Razors, four wheelers and dirt bikes. They sure as hell got out of the way of my 80. they all had on dust masks, as my 11 yr old and I blasted through with the windows up, A/C on and having a blast!I did hike to the ruins and that creek was flowin'! Had to cross it about 20x. What a beautiful area, waterfalls and crystal pools shadowed by towering red cliffs...we saw 3 people! Hahahaa.
Those side by side deals eat so much dust and are so loud I don't know how they're fun? The occupants are always bundled like they came off te set of mad max.

That's funny. Woody said the same thing about his when he got them. Contacted Darren about it and it will go away. The top few winds of the coils that fully compress at ride height make some noise until they "settle" in. Shouldn't take too long and they'll quiet down. I didn't have any such noise with mine. I was prepared for it but never had any.it's the loudest suspension i've ever had. seems like the front springs need a rubber insulator like the rear has (factory, not slinky supplied). still waiting on front shocks, but otherwise, high speed is amazing. sucked up bumps like nothing. rig leans, but i forgot the australian drivers side/right hand thing when installing and the fronts were such a bitch i figured i'd fix that when the shocks come in...had i known it would take so long, i would've done it right away, hopefully reversing those will level it out.
but the barking of the springs is pretty damn annoying and happens constantly, unlike the clunking of the slees which only happened on hard bumps.
DO IT!Don't make me do it! Don't make me!!! I said don't!
Because only people with dead and dying 1FZ-FE post videos of their engine running! The weekend is just starting, but here's what an extensively rebuilt, 30K miles with a fresh oil change 1FZ-FE sounds like!
I've done much needed general maintenance - brakes, rotors, wheel bearings, fan clutch, spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap and other various things the past few weekends and just got the winch mounted as well. Next up some sliders. Hope to have her ready for some good adventures this summer.

New rear hatch gasket. This is the old one coming out. Did some rust mitigation while I was in there.

Mervo, is the ribbed portion of the gasket rigid or flexible ? Am in the process of ordering one and was wondering if it can be coiled up to save space, thanks. Bless that little dude![]()
