What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (122 Viewers)

Was probably just clogged sun roof drain tubes. What type of sealant did you use?

I'm doing this this weekend. I've cleaned my sun roof drains 10x and it still leaks. I'm taking it out this spring and welding in a patch when I paint/monstaliner. Sun roofs are freaking stupid!

I used this, same thing on my windshield. Yeah I've read that people keep having to clean the drains and it still leaks, didn't want to keep messing with it

It's time for new rotors and pads on the 93. What is the consensus on what to buy? I almost always stick with OEM but am open to alternatives. But not interested in breaking the bank. I've never replaced rotors before.

I'll definitely go 100 series pads as that seems to be the way to go.

I'm doing the knuckles and wheel bearings at the same time. Anyone want to come over and help!?!

I installed Hawk LTS pads front and rear this summer. Best my brakes have performed. No fade, no noise, a little weak on the first bit of braking in the morning, but work fine after that :meh: Pricey though, and I cannot speak for their longevity.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa? I am in Minneapolis. If I was a bit closer I would come and help...if your garage has a heater.

And since that sealant is for roofs, it must be UV resistant too.

Finished relocating my air tank from the inside to where the spare used to reside. I also finally set up the rear air outlet

Yep. Garage has a heater!* Supposed to be 50 degrees this weekend! That's shorts and tshirt weather!

*Garage has a heater but the 93 won't fit in the garage...

Think I finally solved the rear water leak for my rig. The bolt holding the vent cover was leaking as well as the tabs. Also minor leaks where the flare tabs enter the rear quarter panel as well as the screw tabs for the gas filler plate.
I guess it is to be expected that after 20 years and moving from the garage to the outdoors some leaks would emerge.

I know those feels. I just bought a new house and the garage has a heater already. I have to take the tires to 5 or 6 psi to get it in.

What kind of tank is that exactly, and do you a compressor connected to it somehow?

I believe it's an old Pepsi CO2 tank. It's hooked up to a York 210 up front.

The garage door opening is getting lifted this summer. I'm extending my garage so that it is 56' long and will have a walk down opening where I'll be able to change the oil and diff fluid and stuff. When I do this I'm making the opening 10' tall with the inside 16' tall. The plan is to eventually get a lift...

I'm not that ambitious. It's already a three car garage. I may try to cut out the concrete and lower the floor for the first few feet into a ramp.
