NICE non-oem air intake tube... Where'd ya get it?

I cannot claim credit for locating and installing that part. I purchased the rig the 6th of December 2016 and it was already on. Going through the fundamentals to insure reliability, then will upgrade as necessary. Very sound rig for age and mileage.

Thanks,

Ben

Went camping with the club at Fish Creek in Anza Borrego. Now I have some serious cleaning to do...

installed some gamaviti seat gears in, vacuumed the nasty stuff under the seats, and threw on a new heater control valve.

I sold some OEM parts I no longer needed and got started on my sound deadening and interior bedliner project. It forced me to clean the inside too! I'm using Al's Heat and Noise Reducer-rolled and brushed on, and then Al's bedliner. I'm also adding some stick on deadener in a few strategic places. Drawers and sleeping platform to follow.

I think I'll order my front springs with the extra cash so I can get rid of the stinkbug.

Did first oil change on new Harrop lockers, 4.88 gears. The oil that came out looked new. Credit @gearinstalls.com . Actually, I'm kind of stoked, there was no indication of wear on the magnets. At all. Weird really. Anyway, if you want perfectly set up gears, send them to: gearinstalls.com

Also swapped out t-case oil to Chevron Syn-Gear XDM 75w-90.

Front brake pads. Was going to do the rotors too but they checked out in spec so they will wait until warmer weather. Pads were bad. Stupid aftermarket pads the PO had put in. Before the trip I checked the outside pads on each wheel and they were good. The inside pads weren't. I'm guessing there is a reason for this. Will have to research.

And got a code 26. Awesome.

Some of the group loves to cook and Im thankful they do. With some light rain morning breakfast consisted of sausage, bacon, eggs, french toast w/real CDN syrup, tortillas, and coffee. Beats my instant maple oatmeal and bananas:doh:
