I think we know what's going on here.

Seat fix on passenger side, (hoping it's the plastic gear), AND DS and PS are getting new Lseat leather which will be finished TOMORROW!! (As will console lid and arm rests)

Just took my daughter to her stand in the ol' 96er for the afternoon hunt. I like just driving right in there because there's no easy sneak in way to that stand. Imo, the deer just don't get riled up at cars like they do people, so parading right in then right back out seems to work well.

A doe came walking out as I was headed to my stand, looked at me, and proceeded to ignore me. I looked down at the 30/thirty, looked at the doe, (that was 250 yards away), and thought, "yup, shoulda brought the .270.... sigh.

I saw nothing the rest of the day.

i freakin love hunting.
 
Didnt get any pics, but hauled a youth group from sacramento to santa cruz for a day at the beach, then up to the redwoods, then back to sac. Probably 500 miles round trip and the truck didnt miss a beat and got ~14mpg, a record since Ive owned her!

Mines looks slightly different that that one. must have been a difference between mine ('94) and other models. I ended up removing the resonator and then trimming back the resonator mount. I just blanked the holes (the same ones that are spliced with the pipe in your photo). works a charm. I have driven about 150 miles today with no issues. I will do the full delete before the winter is out but no rush on that.

This is my 93. I have an air box cover for a 92 that I may put on that has a turn like the one @Dragos80 posted. I've had the duct tape on for about 7k miles. No issues. Other than it looks PWT! I'll find a rubber cap for it at some point like I did on my 92 when I deleted all of the smog equipment.

What is that for?
I don't have one on my 97
 
@Dragos80 All i know is its called the PAIR system. Pulsed Air blah blah. something about fooling California's smog police into thinking emissions are lower than they are by dilution of the exhaust gases. I believe the system was only used on '93 & '94 models.
 
It's some hippie tree hugger California stuff. :smokin:

Monstaliner prep. Had a ton of rock chips that had rust welling up so I'm in about 16 hours of prep time. Had to stop the entire hood frontal area down to bare metal about 8 inches up. I still need to prep the rear hatch which is on the garage floor (another story) and the cowl which I decided to remove. I hope to to the Bedliner tomorrow.
