This is from the ground to ~top of wheel well. Not super scientific. Is it ideal to measure from bottom of rim?

I had a lot to drink tonight, so I might not be too coherent.

Dude, that's like a lot. Ground to bottom of the fender on mine is 22"
How much lift do you have?

No. Never mind. I make no sense.

I was also nose down in my driveway, was measuring for relative differences at top of wheel well. Earth made a decen constant but not at all scientific

Center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender flare completely removes tire size from the equation, so you can compare lift results across rigs.

In my advanced state of being imbibed I was able to remember mine comes around 30", not 22 as I previously stated.
Center hub to bottom of the fender is around 22" for a roughly 2 inch lift.

I guess you lack gravity pull where you live, or that's huge ass lift.

Springs will likely settle after some driving a bit.

Did a little PM today: with 25 years and 122k on the clock, it was time to upgrade my old worn out tcase shift knob to this pretty anodized aluminum knob from @RLMS .

Makes sense, I'll take the last measurement again tomorrow.

Jack got some new fox shocks and a Spartan locker:)

Clamped the IKlip phone holder to the handle bar, super well built and does not shake while driving. Although I wish it didn't stick out so much.

I did the same with RAM mounts and ended up attaching the mount to the bottom of the grab bar. While better it starts to interfere, at times, with my hands while turning. I keep thinking I'll buy another piece or two to make a 'v' shape so the phone holder sits just about flush with the th grab bar. So little dash depth on these old rigs.

I tried to mount it lower and it seemed like it would interfere with driving/steering wheel. I drove around with it and the top of the handle seems to work quite well, although a bit close to my face but no interference at all with steering or getting in and out of the car. It also does not encroach into any field of vision since it blocks only the pillar even with my Apple 6+ phone.

Maybe I'll bring mine up a bit. Felt super uncomfortable having that thing so close to my face. 6+ here too. And perhaps I need to get over it :hillbilly:
