Yup. Its an 11400-66040 coffee table compliments of @Rice and his 1fz project.

You're either single or you picked your wife/significant other very very well!

Many dash unit dont have 70cm making it not simplex popular
Yup. 2m is much more common and used, but most the repeaters around here are 70cm, so no brainer to run a dual band at least here.

Did Ravens Roost and Naches trail before it closes for the season. The new stock 4runner was pretty impressive. Was a wet but fun day!

Cheers,
Salue

I even found a single matsutake (pine) mushroom right off the trail! I'm sure there were plenty more in the area!

Upgrading to a NA-771 antenna is a excellent <$5 investment

Not to worry 90%+ of all off roaders with licensed HAMs only use and know how to use one channel.

Upgrading to a NA-771 antenna is a excellent <$5 investment for the handheld

Ordered. Thanks!

Just finished carpeting the drawers and installed them in the cruiser. Just waiting on some hinges for the lids on the sides and it will be finished. Pretty stoked on how they turned out.

looks great.

Got most of my parts in to make the new Trail Tailor adjustable upper and lower control arms..

Also, as of today I'm a Currie Enterprise dealer... let me know of anyone needs anything.

Uppers will be 1.5" x .250" DOM w/ CrMo tube adapters and 3/4-16 jack screw w/ greasable poly fixed ends
Lowers will be 1.75" x .250" DOM w/ 2.5" x 1"-14 Currie Johnny Joints, CrMo tube adapters w/greasable poly fixed ends

@Box Rocket will be getting a prototype set to install and review in the next couple weeks.

EDIT-- @AMMO had a good suggestion and I'll make another option for those that need/want this. ULTI-FLEX arm setup with a Johnny Joint and screw jack for UCAs..

Please don't take this the wrong way.

Your kit will be like the Metal Tec LCA, and a Slee UCA....?

What I'd like to see is a Johnny joint UCA with the screw jack.... Now that is an option no one has.

This would allow full adj of the UCA with out removing from the rig and give max articulation....

I've actually bent my Slee UCA's causing me to loose the ability to adjust them. I contribute that to torsional flex in the fixed joint beyond what the Polly busing could take. (I'm in the market for new UCA's)

Basically the Metal Tec LCA flex beyond the UCA with fixed joints. If you were to add a Johnny Joint to your upper (to match the lower) and keep the ability to adjust on the truck you would have a distinct advantage.

Unlike those two companies I will always build one off custom units... If you're interested, I'll make whatever you want.

Pricing for adjustable upper and lowers with heims? @AMMO 's idea is good, much stronger

Allows for more articulation and reduces binding. Pricing will be released once I get everything in and have built a set or two to figure in labor.

@AMMO can you point me to an example of the screw jack that you think is what you're after? I'd like to get my head wrapped around as many factors as I can before I do some testing on the prototypes.

I for one (and I suspect many of you as well) have always been impressed with @reevesci Trail Tailor's bumper designs and fabrication. Really looking forward to seeing how these turn out.

I'm consistently amazed at the Land Cruiser enthusiast small businesses that are working hard to fill the needs of LC owners with new stuff and inject fresh ideas into the market. Wits End, Trail Tailor, Autocraft/Redline LC, Landtank, YotaTEQ are ones that come to mind and I'm sure there are others. Good stuff guys and keep it coming!
