Me either but, after I dropped down on a log and bent my bars I always wanted to build one. So, now its here. What is nice is you have to look underneath to see it. Its pretty tucked away.
And yes to each their own.

I'm curious as to how you mounted your skid. Is it solid mounted or set to articulate with the axle?
Upgraded my brake system in the middle of my LS swap. Used a 93 4Runner brake booster (mounted upside down due to bolts and the shaft alignment in firewall), and used a 1 ton 1" T-100 Master Cylinder. All the lines bolted up as they should have. I did a lot of reading and cant find anywhere where the booster has to be mounted a certain way. Please chime in if I'm mistaken.

....then went bad quick on some ice skates, ending in 6 staples in my head...
Man...that's a clean looking 60Did a bit this weekend. All on the inside. Added a throttle cable from a parted 62 and also a new grab bar from Cruiser Corps. Then put some miles on it on the way to the island for short family stay. View attachment 1369297 View attachment 1369298 View attachment 1369299
Oh, and added a silver surfer refrigerator magnet to the tailgate.

Awesome!Today I installed my Turbosmart boost controller, and adjusted the boost from 7.5 to 10psi, with an increase in fuel to (hopefully) match. I did a highway acceleration test to 110km/hr after each adjustment to check boost, egt, and time. Settled on what I believe is a good compromise between power, smoke, and egts... I will book it in for a dyno tune after Xmas / New Years just to ensure what I have done won't affect engine reliability...
Pm me the price on the mudflaps. Thanks!Anyone interested in stock OEM mud flaps and a pair of Cibie Super Oscar vintage lights? Whats the going price for mudflaps? Trying to declutter my collection of car parts. I also have clean rust free fenders and a couple 60 doors. Someone make me an offer haha should be going up in the for sale section soon. I also have a medical grade fridge but I might keep that
Replaced the rear u-joints on the Criuser to take care of a vibration. Took about 8 hour to get the both of the U-joints out on the rear drive shaft. Got the AutoZone Duralast U-joints (part number 2-0020DL) $21 bucks after taxes. Now we will see how long they last. Is it Duralast or Duracrap ?!?!?!? Here some picture of the dead and removed U-joints.View attachment 1002205
