This 2H seems to be off its nut!!
This is the culmination of a 3.5yr build of an HJ60. It's an amalgamation of about 5 different vehicles. The engine is from a rusted out beachside 60 series that I think had about 250,000klms on it. No turbo...

The center console is meant to replace a factory console. This Cruiser lacks the console brackets on the floor since it originally was a bench seat truck. They sent some brackets but they were just to whimpy and allowed the console to vibrate and...
We knew it was going to be a lot of work, but it took both of us 12 hours straight to get it done 😲 On top of that I had to kick one of the cars out of the garage to let the ceramic coat cure on the 40.
I removed as many emblems and parts off...
Found an original tie rod end clamp bolt and put a Cruiser Cult/City Racer coolant overflow tank on over the winter. The bottle is a later version but keeps the coolant contained and is easily reversible.
Since the mixture screw is the same setting from factory and you can't get it to idle, something was installed/setup incorrectly during rebuild. I wouldn't recommend chasing the mixture screw as the factory setting will be more than sufficient to...

Diesellibrarian-thanks-it was 22mm which I found at AutoZone of all places. CityRacer has an OEM part with the crush washers so it’s on its way. AutoZone did show an aftermarket part which was the same price as CityRacer.
Question-while spending...
These were first shown way back in post #447 of this thread.
I speculated they were some sort of counterbalance. Learned they are just that.
They are counterweights for Toyota tiller/cultivators made in the 50s-60s by Toyota Automatic Loom...
A broken sight glass is sad. One on an NOS SD-40 was sadder:
But it's all better now:
Thanks Andy. The new soft seal is a great product alone. It fits perfectly.
