Look familiar?
Cowl to hood seal
1 1/8 x 1/2 x 16 1/2"
And it is an extruded piece. What is shown is a foam core over a or rubber cover.
this is a great sample.....I suspected it was only glued to the cowl in the appropiate shape...or glueing the extrusion to shape might work....will give you a call tomorrow
It is not a foarmed piece.
I'm pretty sure I can source this one. I just need some time.
Outer door seal
This seal has many profiles. At least three.
Here is one.
3/4 (longer finger) x 1/2 x 1/2(shorter finger)
This is it beside the replacement from JCWhitney most are using. It's much smaller.
my JC Whitney seals after a year are still going strong....no problems
This is the install of the JCwhitney outer weatherstripping.
I don't know which part # is for what door.
the "white" pins are for the front door; "red" pins rear door.......I ran into problems on the bottom of the door getting the pins to stick.......you can see my solution posts 187 to 192 on this thread.......still working well over a year later
This is how you cut the old out. Slice it down one side.
I used a screwdriver to poke it in the channel. Worked well.
