Great job on bending the SS tubing. I've never really mastered the art. Sure is looking nice!

Thanks Ron, looks like Toyota changed that section sometime between our years.
This is a better picture showing the slots I’m talking about. My issue is when bought the rig nothing was in there and the slots were crushed I tighten the bolts it's doing the same and I cant believe that is correct...
That looks a little crazy.
I too cannot remember what year your Pig is. I will look at the beginning of the thread for answer. If you are close to my '74, I can take a picture of mine if you need...
Well my pig is akin to Johnny Cash’s Cadillac, my front end is comprised of 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 and 76 pig parts, that part was from a 76 and it had the goofy slots that seem to serve no purpose other than to confound me so I machined some aluminum spacers to fill them![]()
Man, I like cool brackets! What type of tubing bender did you use on the SS? I use one of the hand held ones on the soft tube.
Man that tubing work is beautiful! Where did you get the bulk heads?
Where did you get the windshield wash reservoir?
If I were assured top notch bends like those, I'd pop for that bender. Thinking skill comes into play!
As always, good job. How was flaring the SS? often heard it has a tendency to crack, but I've never tried it.
What's the story with these batteries (as in why use them)? Is it a fitment thing?Just a heads up, I tried to order another Sears DieHard Platinum battery "ODYSSEY battery" today and was told Sears is discontinuing these. I had to get one shipped to my local store from out of state.
