Sorry Bob,

Not much to take pictures of other than me stoking the fire trying to get the paint to cure or touching up the black on the inside.

I’m hoping in the next few days I can jam this pig back together have something more to show.

Done version II, I got off my lazy ass and put it together so I could take the wife out to thanksgiving dinner. If I get real ambitious I might even wash the Moab dirt off before we go.

Alright, now that she's back in shape, what's next? We have all Winter to get some neat sceet done.

Well I still need to finish wiring the rear accessories, charge ports, lights, etc. then make the door panels, remove the transfer case to solve the mystery oil leak and weld the hole I poked in the oil pan from improperly set bump stops before I can start on the “angry pig buggy”.

I have been collecting parts for the new pig and the tires showed up today!

a kind of bigfoot.
Nice repair.

Still trying to get 500 easy miles to break in the new rear gears, took a drive with a friend on some back roads and the pig is now getting closer to being done.

Beautiful country you live in, and good to see the pig back on the road!

Take care to the rear DS corner . Hihihi.
Nice pig, nice area.

Thank you!
Feels good to be out putting miles on instead working on it.

That's the plan!!!.... Thank you.

Small update on the Restomod heat A/C unit, by design this unit is a recirculation only system and by not allowing fresh air inside the car, the "old," warm, moist air stays inside longer; when it hits a cool glass surface of your window, your windshield and side glass fogs. I will say that the windshield defrost okay but everything behind the driver is a no go.

I’m looking into some anti-fog wax like Cat crap now, Cat Crap - EK USA

Let you know what I find but for now I have to keep a side window cracked to let outside air in.

J Mack,

Good review on the defrost. Does it clear off the front door windows? Side vents working as planned? She sure looks good out and about. How's the shocks working out?

Thanks Ron,

Short answer is no without cracking a side window.

Thank you!

Recirc only? That is too bad. I would not like that at all. I leave my settings on fresh air year round. Even in summer the outside air is drier than the inside of the vehicle around these parts...

It’s not all bad, the A/C works very well and I have no issue with the recirculation only system especially when driving off road in dusty conditions.

The heater will get the cab hot enough to make you sweat like Pamela Anderson in a spelling contest, the defroster worked okay until it started raining then no combination of hot or cool air could keep up unless you rolled down a window and it got really bad after we got out of the pig in the rain then got back in with damp clothes.

I don’t know of any station wagon’s from this Era that didn’t fog up in these conditions so it’s not a surprise but I wanted to note it so the guys with the Restomod systems can possibly put more thought into their defrost system than I did.
