So sick dude!!!!! Baddest 40 ever!!!!

This is really great !!! I used to have a girlfriend who was in charge for outdoor magazine a she put me on the cover hiking in Alaska, where I was with her at that time...She printed my 6 page article about bicycle trip across Canada so I know how it feels to have your rig on the cover of Toyota 4 WD magazine...Now I got to find this magazine-it is rare to see it at this parts of the woods...

Wife surprised me last week with an awesome birthday present! I've always wanted to make one for garage art, but never wanted to spend the time or money on it. She bought the parts on ebay, powder coated them to match my 40, and assembled it. Pretty cool! It looks great on the wall!

Wow....only headlamps don't match but it is a great present...You got a great wife!!

Haha yep. She thought about doing the LED's, but couldn't justify the $500 for wall art.

I love this build. Fantastic. What company do you work for in Las Vegas? My best friend is getting married and we have a bachelor party in began for march madness. Could be fun to do a helicopter spin.

still my favorite 40 build.

any one know if you can get that mag on the net? wont be able to get it here where i am

Congrats Riley! What you have done is super unique and your craftsmanship is excellent.

I always carry my tools in a Pelican 1550 hard case. Since I never have passengers in the back of my 40, I took the jump seats out and made a platform for the dog so she can sit higher when we travel. I strap the Pelican case to the roll bars on the side of the cargo area.

I have had a Polk 8" sub for a while that matches the rest of my speakers, but I haven't installed it yet because I couldn't find a place to put it that I really liked. I decided to get a matching Pelican case to make a 'box' for it. It now contains my 8" sub and Polk amp, so I can remove them in about 5 seconds.

Tool box-

Marking cuts on 3/4" MDF. The Pelican case is not tight enough or the right dimensions to work as a box itself, so there is an actual box inside of it as well.

Sub and amp in and sound great!

^^^over the top. Love it.

Nice use of the pelican box! A bandpass box would've made it totally stealth with the port facing forwards on the side of the box. Or even facing backwards towards the side of the cruiser. The configuration below would need to be slightly tweaked for the depth of the box but doable. Since you have that cool trailer you don't have to worry about gear but might be a good idea to throw a grill on that subwoofer to protect it.

Do you have a simple 12V plug for power to the amp?

If I recall you put subaru seats in this build. Any thoughts on using them or other seats?
