Removed oil pressure sending unit and blew air in. Had a clean rag in front of rear main oil port. This is what came out.

Me thinks @Poser is on to something....
I hate that this happened but I think you know what happened.
He assembled it for free and has offered to rebuild it again at no cost. He is a good friend and I will not let him pay for it.
Thanks for posting!Have not done anything with the engine yet. Still waiting on parts.
If anybody is interested here is the differences between 77 with rear vent windows and 76 w/o vent window rear roll bars.
76 is on bottom.

Looks like you'll be back in the saddle in no time.Got a recommendation from @2fpower on a machine shop to take the crankshaft to. Dropped it off Wednesday and picked it up Friday. They polished the rear main journal. Now waiting for the new rod and main bearings.

Almost there.
I hate the dual wheel cylinder drum brake system. You could probably pull the wheel cylinders apart and run a hone through them real quick and they will probably be fine. As long as the adjusters aren't rusted solid should only take 5 minutes per wheel cylinder. Clutch slave it pretty cheap. Sucks they are leaking though. Glad its running. Ive almost broke that camels back many times. Someone broke into my 40 a few weeks ago and I wondered whats the point of having anything nice.Last post, for a while anyway.
Installed the engine again. It runs and sounds good. Not driveable because of leaking brake wheel cylinders and clutch slave cylinder. They were all new but several years old. Almost sent everything to be stainless steel sleeved but did not want to spend the money. Guess I should of done that. I am just tired of buying new parts to replace new parts that are bad. This might of been "The straw that broke the camel's back"
New wheel cylinders installed. New clutch slave cylinder installed. Brakes and clutch cylinder were just gravity bled. If nobody is interested in buying I will consider parting it out.
Drove about an hour in the brush. No idea to fix the video.
