Cool idea! I am in the process of imagining where the electric holes will go right now.
Thinking about running the wiring for the lights out the openings for those side vents, and then down the outside of the inner fender(s)🤔
The wiring for the engine coming through somewhere behind the engine so that it isn’t super obvious.

I’m gonna cover them with this material first and see how I like it.

I've used that. It's ok. A better option would be to go with something from Second Skin. Their ceramic heat shield and foil products are excellent.

Cut and bent up the center piece. I’m actually a little bit (or a lot) amazed that this came out as good as it did on the first try. A little trimming and smooching here and there and the fitment will be dun.(!)

I need a new windshield for mine. Any suggestions for the best place to get one? I was planning to call around some local "mom and pop" places to see if I could find a deal.

Have them look up glass co. Mygrant and the product number is M-854. I'll look up my records, but I believe that's it, same as Cruiser Corps.

EDIT....Wrong number, Right number is FW326. A lot cheaper than Cruiser Corp.

I had Jones Paint & Glass order and install a brand new windshield for my 1969. They acted like it was no big deal and it came within a couple of days. They did a great job.

As noted they are available through many quality glass houses. Jones Paint & Glass would be a great example for those here in the Intermountain Utah area. The owner (Dave Jones) lives in the next county south and is a Cruiserhead. We built an FJ40 him years ago. Neat gentleman!
