I got my set @ 12 years ago from a government auction. The trailer came with two generator sets, so I removed one and put a 225 gal. fuel tank in it's place. The house and shop can be powered up within minutes.

That is awesome set-up!

3. Master cylinder ordered
4. Engine and transmission painted
5. Engine side mounts welded and chopped
6. Scheming the plan for the outer firewall
7. Bought an FZJ80 air cleaner housing

Still after it today, getting into a project I’ve been hesitant about. It’s kind of a two part project, this here was getting going on the first part.
There was a lot of hym-haw in my head over what I should fill and what I should leave alone. I didn’t want to get rid of the welded nuts if I thought I could use them, since I think they’re better than riv-nuts. But really, that doesn’t matter if they’re not going to be where I need them to be for what’s coming next on the inner and outer firewall. The only ones I kept were anchor points for the brake line p-clamps. Also kept those two mystery holes in the upper portion of the recessed center for possible entry and exit for a brake line if I decide to run a line-lock. Otherwise they can be easily plugged.

I filled as many holes…duct or bolt…as possible when I did mine. Wanted to keep as much heat from the engine bay from coming into the cabin as possible. Well done!

I like how the Baer has screw on res. caps where as the Wilwood has a bunch of allen head screws you have to remove to check level.
