Perhaps the purchase of a larger table and 70 Series might be in your future. A 75 Series has a LOT of cargo capacity.
:)

Glad to hear your doing your own thing. I'm thinking I may have been one of your last orders from dealership. Glad you'll be around to do more business with ever transaction has always been fast and painless. Good luck

Arrived via USPS Priority: Thanks for the expedited service on my key order Onur! You went WAY above your old "bar" height (which was already great I might add) for me/this order. Grazie Mille!

You don't need no stinking employer!

Would you able to get parts from other pre 1977 Toyota models non LC? Can provide the the part numbers of course. It would be less work for you. If you can other Toyota addict will be save from buying fake parts from eBay:bang:

Do you have stickers, magnets, or pens with your logo? That all I need right now :) I'll just order parts next time for sure. Keep up the good work?

Congrats on going on your own. You deserve it.

Won't the post office do a daily pickup for businesses??? Seems like you shouldn't have to cart it all down there.

/that's what I was wondering, too\

good luck

A few more clarifications to some questions

2. I order Monday-Friday. Parts are shipped--currently-- Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. USPS has been a pain currently about setting up daily pickups due to my "rural" location (Metro ATL?!?!?). If you do require expedited service--PLEASE CALL ME. I will do what I can to assist you within means.

Too much brake cleaner everyone?

It seems like the USPS is working harder to avoid work/customer service than they are at delivering mail.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. First week has been just awesome.

My biggest problem is just keeping up!

A reminder: This is a one-man operation! I take all of the orders, do all of the quotes, go and get all of the parts (30 minute ride one way), then pack all of the parts, then take them all to the Post office or Fedex/UPS (another 20-30 minutes of time one way), do all of the invoicing, bookkeeping, stocking, cleaning, sweeping the floors, cleaning the toilets!

You get the picture. :)

The worst part about this is the "infrastructure" that the dealership has that I don't have--computer systems to create quotes immediately, convert them to .pdf's and email them with a few key strokes. I am having to do all of this manually with pieces of paper and email.

So, I do really appreciate your patience.

Thanks again for all of the orders. Your support has been quick incredible!

Have a great weekend.
-o-
I think we all understand this--the real deal is all that "infrastructure" is just BS --it's what behind it that is important--the dedication to the customer of a product that the supplier recognizes as superior, and supports that. It's the connection, and the realization that quality does take a little time, but worth every penny.
I wish I were younger--I would force you to hire me to help.

Box received! Thanks!

I heard about you literally the day after your infamous "hiatus" post.. and was pretty bummed. Thought I had missed out on a great thing.

Very glad to see you are making this happen... frankly it is needed, and from what I can tell you are definitely the man to pull it off.

You'll be hearing from me as I continue "project OCD"

Well, finally talked with my Post Master today (took 30 minutes to see him as he is a very important person--even though I had an appt scheduled).

I told him about the Stamps.com "scheduling service" they offer and he said "ah that company has been a nothin' but truble...." in his best southern accent.

Anyway, I had to 'splain to him what I was doing and the volume and what kind of service I wanted. He said fine so starting tomorrow I pick up service from my house on a daily basis.

What an ordeal.

Another step forward, the State of GA granted my LLC certificate and gave my my non-tax status. Woo Whoo!! Another ordeal to say the least.

It is amazing to me the hypocrisy inherent in the daily running of American democracy.

The whole idea (as I was taught in grade school)-- was that America was the place that made going out on your own, making something out of nothing, freedom and working hard to achieve something easy in the sense that everyone had the opportunity to do so. And GA of all places is a place that is welcoming of folks trying to start a new business and succeed and achieve.

Nothing but heartache, paperwork, checks filled out, driving to and fro--nothing but damn hassle.

Everything to do this has been a Sisphyusian battle up the bureaucratic mountain.... to the detriment of folks that are waiting for responses to email, phone calls and PM's.

Anyway, enough of my soap box.

Onward.

Be well.
