I like the look of that. Are the headlight washers going to go back in?

Ok, so Steve was able to get everything up, tacked and the way he liked it. This bumper is solid, provides ample protection, and does not protrude out in front of the rig. Steve will be working on the front bars after he's got her fully welded, sanded, etc. Then finishing the Rear swing-aways, aux fuel, skid plates, and rock sliders..

You can really see high much time Steve spent in following the lines of the 200 series, it's personality, and make sure that noting stuck out too far.

Hahaha yep! They build these pretty darn stout so I am not all that worried about the bumper above the wheel. The tire will absorb most obstacles and should be able to guide through steep decents at an angle enough so it clears.Holy smokes!! That REALLY bares the front wheels! Looks mean like that! I like the look, but I'm curious about strength with such sharp angles up toward the headlight surrounds. Really kind of amazing how open the wheel wells are there.
So much for tires rubbing the front...as from the looks of it, there IS no front in that well.![]()
Thanks for the heads-up. We had it on they hyster flexing, the back was solid, the front moved like 1/2" so Steve at CBI made sure to allow for that flex.A potential issue i see with that bumper is the clearances between the bumper and headlight/trim is very tight. I'd maybe get it a bit further away if j were you. The frame flexes a LOT and I have a feeling it will hit the lights and trim.
It looks AWESOME though.
Thanks! Indeed! Cannot wait to pick her up next week.looks great - exciting for you I'm sure
Thanks!! Come on down, will be happy to go through it with you.Rig is looking good. I would like to check it out in person once all done. I am in Sacramento. What gauge steel are they using? I am thinking 3/16" and 1/4". For paint, are going PC, Linex, rattle can or something else.
Thank you sir!very very very nice ....... now that's a front I can live with ....
I threw mileage out the window. I was getting 18 stock, 16 with lift going 70mph/14.5 going 85mph, and am guessing I will be around 11-12mpg with this setup.Yes, that looks great with all the exposed wheels and tight fit... fingers crossed it doesn't drop your mileage too much.![]()
