The rack sits almost an inch above the rear fin. There is not radio/nav interference at all.
I have not removed it yet but given how the rack went on, it would probably take an hour or less to remove it. Especially after you do it 1-2 times. There is also about a 1/2" room to lower the rack from how it sits today.

NEWS - Alright everyone, well here it goes! For those of you that have wanted the opportunity to own a fully built 200 series - HERE IT IS!
I have decided to potentially sell my pride and joy. I have not even had the opportunity to take her off-road nor truly enjoy the fruits of my (and many other people's labor). I have decided that I will NOT be taking her off-road as I do not feel it would be right to get her all banged up and then sell it, if I am already thinking of it now. Everything runs absolutely pristine, I have a maintenance agreement with Toyota that will transfer and there has been no electrical work done to the rig at all. There are too many extras included to list which include:
- Dual Battery system (not installed)
- plenty of cable (positive/negative) connectors, distribution blocks, circuit breakers, fuses, etc. all sized appropriately (not installed)
- Drop-down fridge slide (not installed yet, but can install for buyer)
- National Luna 90L fridge (still in box, not installed)
- quick disconnect for above fridge (not installed)
- 2nd and 3rd row seats included in sale
- ALL WORK DONE PROFESSIONALLY by CBI Offroad - their reputation is amazing - ask anyone on here
At the end of the day the reason I am thinking of selling the rig is simple - we will be having a baby soon. We are planning and saving, and for the coming 2-3 - 4 years, our ability to go out into the wild, camp, etc. will simply be nonexistent. Additionally, my job has gotten ridiculously busy - traveling every week and it will only get busier.
I am asking $82K for the rig. She has 16.5K on the odometer and was just serviced. I bought her new and have put more than $30K into the truck not to mention the 30-50 additional items and parts that will come with it. I realize the price is on the higher side, but the truck is new, in perfect condition, and ready for any adventure you can throw at her. All the work is completed for you. This project has already been almost a year-long one for me and it doesn't make sense for her to just sit and not get used the way she was intended to be used.

Congrats on the baby! Life will become so much more... AWESOME...is the best word I can come up with... and interesting!too bad on the truck, this is a sweet ride and you did some awesome work. I have enjoyed reading your thread and getting some cool ideas. I wish we could make you an offer...we just bought a stock 2011.
This is the perfect set up for a baby/kids and I would encourage you to keep it, we have sold many and not without regrets, but I totally get why you want to sell. our LO is going to be 3 this June and I am just getting comfortable camping with her...not to mention all the extra 'gear' that goes along with having a baby. Thank you for the kinds words cmkz! It is definitely a hard decision and who knows, I may just end up keeping it if I don't get what I am looking for it.
All that work to build a beautiful 200 and you didn't get to enjoy the fruits of your labor and time and money spent. Keep it if you can, your son / daughter can drive it in 16 years.

That is a bummer to hear. My vote is to keep it - use it for when the kid(s) come. You already have it - you know everything about it - you can use it as get away rig when you want to take a break from Silicon Valley rat race

We have three children. They love the LX. We have a minivan too. Aside from getting to the third row, the LX is just as serviceable as a family hauler + you can take it where you want. I think when you have a 2 or 3 year old you'd regret a sale quite a bit.
I would suggest that after you have the little one, your work focus with soften, and it's likely you will want to spend some time with the family. Kids camp just fine!
