After realizing my 2008 LC has an 12/07* build date it has me curious what the earliest (and latest!) might be. Anyone have one earlier than December? Any ideas when the last 100 series rolled off the line?

I won’t claim to be an expert but at least for MY08, you can somewhat predict how early a truck was built by looking at the last 4 digits of the VIN. The earliest trucks are generally 0xxx, somewhat in sequential/chronological order.

Here is a truck in MI that’s very early:

It was built in 9/2007.

On the late side of things, I’ve seen some MY21 trucks show a date as late as April 2021.

It was built in 9/2007.

Interesting, my last 4 are 1282 so not quite that early. I guess it's the 1,282nd 200 series LC to roll off the line? Should I include that in my forum signature

Regarding the one vin/frame analyzer I found that worked on my number (and also the only one that detected my trim and so on) it is a 04/2008.

Can‘t compete on your 2007‘s but I am pretty close hehe

Except for the MY 2013 LC200's. Since there was no MY2012, build dates are from much earlier. As an example, here's the VIP for my 2013 LC200:

This shows a build date from April of the year prior to the Model Year.

200 series production ended March/April IIRC. They were making production 300 series by May 2021.

Why do you believe this date is July 12th? These plates display the build month and year, not the day. Looks like December of 2007 to me.

I’ve taken the liberty of hacking your account and substituting all sorts of maintenance records like “blinker fluid change,” etc.

Also - as a fellow silver LC owner, I checked my build date. It too is 3/21!
