Ok, so Steve was able to get everything up, tacked and the way he liked it. This bumper is solid, provides ample protection, and does not protrude out in front of the rig. Steve will be working on the front bars after he's got her fully welded, sanded, etc. Then finishing the Rear swing-aways, aux fuel, skid plates, and rock sliders..

You can really see high much time Steve spent in following the lines of the 200 series, it's personality, and make sure that noting stuck out too far.

Holy smokes!! That REALLY bares the front wheels! Looks mean like that! I like the look, but I'm curious about strength with such sharp angles up toward the headlight surrounds. Really kind of amazing how open the wheel wells are there.

So much for tires rubbing the front...as from the looks of it, there IS no front in that well. ;)

Can you add a side photo, or "profile"...that gives a better view of the wheel well (straight at the wheel sides), and frontal extension?

That bumper looks incredibly flush up front, with about a good an approach angle as anything with a winch. The exposure of the front tires reminds me of the FJ Cruiser a little...in a good way.

What are you going to do with all that skirting in the front portion of the wheel well?

Hahaha yep! They build these pretty darn stout so I am not all that worried about the bumper above the wheel. The tire will absorb most obstacles and should be able to guide through steep decents at an angle enough so it clears.

It is almost as flush as stock, amazing. I do not yet have a full side profile as I have not picked her up yet. I will have many though in the coming 11-12 days.

The stock skirting will be gone, they left it on there for fit and finish but will remove them next week.

Hi all, I know this really isn't the right forum but I am still trying to gauge the market for this awning. If you could go check out the link there is a poll at the top of the thread. I am debating whether to bring a few into the US and curious to everyone's thoughts. I will also post another poll around a drop-down fridge slide once I get that truck back and installed. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

A potential issue i see with that bumper is the clearances between the bumper and headlight/trim is very tight. I'd maybe get it a bit further away if j were you. The frame flexes a LOT and I have a feeling it will hit the lights and trim.

It looks AWESOME though.

Thanks for the heads-up. We had it on they hyster flexing, the back was solid, the front moved like 1/2" so Steve at CBI made sure to allow for that flex.

looks great - exciting for you I'm sure

Rig is looking good. I would like to check it out in person once all done. I am in Sacramento. What gauge steel are they using? I am thinking 3/16" and 1/4". For paint, are going PC, Linex, rattle can or something else.

Thanks!! Come on down, will be happy to go through it with you.

very very very nice ....... now that's a front I can live with ....

Yes, that looks great with all the exposed wheels and tight fit... fingers crossed it doesn't drop your mileage too much. :D
I threw mileage out the window. I was getting 18 stock, 16 with lift going 70mph/14.5 going 85mph, and am guessing I will be around 11-12mpg with this setup.

Okay, it's only been a few days but feels like ages. :zilla:

Here are a few updates of where Bear is at, still under the knife but the doc is moving along swiftly.

The front bumper gets some brush guards almost finished. The LED bar will be a 30" integrated into the bumper and you will be able to place another 30" LED bar just below the center upright:

The exhaust rerouted:

Exhaust barely noticeable and out of the way of obstacles:

Looking good. Are they going to incorporate the parking sensors into the bumpers?
