I had ordered these last night, this morning I got the email that they’re arriving tomorrow… the Amazon of commercial parts?

I used this and the baby powder - I also put the tubes mostly in the check freezer to contract some and the foam in the sun before I slid the foam over
A 100 deg F change in temperature will change the diameter of a 3/4 inch O.D. copper alloy tube by about 0.0015". Work fast. Not sure how much you gain with copper putting in the freezer. Used in HVACR coils because of it heat transfer properties. Even with Arizona's low desert humidity items pulled out of the freezer with have humidity condense and freeze quickly. Copper may warm up too quickly to have humidity freeze. But the little bit gained is not worth it if any moisture collects on the outside of the copper.
Refer to post #463.I think cold reduces the diameter by the amount per degree below standard conditions 68F?
There things like water becoming that increase when its freezes.
...somebody is trying to tell me those turn signals on the wheel wells belong on my '78 FJ43, and not the side ones I have currently. Anyone know?View attachment 3399183

Mine spent ~10 months in the body shop. They said it would be 3, maybe 4 so I know what the wait feels like. Looks like you are making the most of your time waiting. Great work! The body guy is just so slow, gives me plenty of time to detail this stuff.
I'm sending mine to you to disassemble
In his defense, there was a lot of rust to fix and he is doing a great job, he is an experienced body guy. He also has other projects in the shop needing his attention. He replaced the rear quarters, wheel well tops, rear sill, front floors and inner/outer rockers. We are fitting the tail gate and spare tire carrier now. Since the rear quarters and sill were replaced, it is a blank slate. He is careful and we are looking at a lot of photos to get it right. I am using the nut plates that @cruisermatt sells for the tailgate hinges. The location of the spare carrier latch on the replacement rear sill is not correct for a tailgate truck so that was a puzzle. By the way, the hole spacing for the tailgate hinges and spare carrier latch are the same, so those nut plates can be used for that also.Mine spent ~10 months in the body shop. I examined the patent for that machine. Small world.I made some gaskets for the tailgate hinges and latches, and the pads for under the hatch latches. I used 1/16" rubber with my Cricut Maker. This is the coolest machine ever.
