The 35's definilty look proper now on my 200. I went from 285/65/18 Ko2 to 35/12.5/18 (34.5 per their website) Ko2 . Definitely need to trim a little in the rear of the front tires and possibly put my bilsteins on the 6th perch instead of 5th. Dissent bumpers also going on this weekend so I will get it all dialed in and report back when finished. Full disclosure, this is the 4th set of tires I try on this car within the last 10 months. First 33/12.5/18 KM3. Looked and fit perfect, but the muds left me desiring a quieter ride. Then 275/70/18 Ko2. Rode great, but too visually skinny for my taste. Then 285/65/18 these were great, however just not big enough. These 35's look perfect. Hopefully MPG doesn't go to the single digits

per the OP request…

1. Tires - Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 37x12.5 17
2. Mods - Body lift, metal cutting, body mount relocation, not sure if the following is necessary but I also have the AHC sensor mod, just a bit beyond normal, UCA’s and thicker squishy bumpstops front and rear.
3. So far they seem fully stuffable. It was flexing pretty good on this trip.
4. Wheels - Rock Warrior converted to true Beadlock by OMF Performance.
5. They appear to actually measure 37” front to back.

The tire mounted actually measures just under 34''. After a week of having them. I am so happy that my MPG didn't go straight to crap. I also don't feel an immense power loss. I do live at sea level and mostly drive flat roads. The real test will be when I drive to Moab and Ouray in a couple weeks.

I just got back from a 2000ish mile road trip to Moab and ouray and I can't believe I averaged about 15 miles per gal. Per the onboard computer says 13.7 and adjust about 10% for the larger tires = 15 mpg( am I doing this right?) this was not including wheeling time. It was reset after wheeling before heading home, but on the way there it was about identical at 13.7mpg. I was doing about 75-85 most of the way. With my previous 285/65/18 the best average was about 13mpg on road trips. Around town/ mixed city driving I probably did lose 1mpg. Am I crazy or has anyone else hiway MPG increased with 35's? Also the only time I felt I could have used gears was the really steep stuff In Moab. Even then, I was able to crawl up everything. I'm really happy with my 35's. I wish I would have done it from the start. There will be some practically new 285/65/18 ko2's in the classified section if anyone is interested.

My experience is the exact same, even with 37’s! Worse in town but Highway has improved slightly

and I think I’m off about 12% so that’s about 15mpg as well on this mixed driving tank. Gears are coming so I hope it improves even a little more. We’ll see

great........ now 37's are the new 35's..... lol that's awesome! add 12 percent miles to that tank and your basically at 300 per tank. none of my past 100 or 80 builds have been able to accomplish that specially stock.

I saw indicated 15.6 avg MPG on the way back from Moab with my 34s and I jumped for joy. I guess because it’s mostly downhill

I am considering going back to 35”s but I’m rolling on 17”s and wonder how that will make my suv feel on the hwy with more rubber compared to my previous 18”s. How was the road noise? Did you consider the Toyo open country AT/3?

I am considering going back to 35”s but I’m rolling on 17”s and wonder how that will make my suv feel on the hwy with more rubber compared to my previous 18”s. How was the road noise? ko2 is my favorite AT tire. I have tried almost all over the past 12 years on various builds. They are quiet. I read a lot of
Complaints from others, but I haven't ever had issues. I had a set of brand new km3, (33/12.5's) on this build initially and they were too loud for me. Maybe I'm getting older, because just 2 years ago, I had the same exact tire on a lx470 and they were perfect.

I ended up picking up another vehicle ,lets say the top comes off … I put the 35’s on that vehicle fit with no lift .
Mounting up the 35’s I got a real sense on how big and heavy they really are , mounted 110 lbs each but the Nitto 35 is one of the best tires I have ever owned .
Sizing them up next to my stock 200 gives you a real sense on how big they really are … 37’s are crazy .

Coolest thing about Nitto is they now make a 38 x 12.5 x 17! Most 38's have been 13.5 that I had seen, so I think it will be a good option and I don't mind that tread design.

That wheel must be a little heavy though, because I think my 37's weight about the same mounted

If you added an FJ40, well done I would have put those tires on it straight away also

I've noticed good MPG if I keep it around 65 with the 35s. Last time I did a trip and stayed around 65 I got computer low 16s on the screen. Over 70 I definitely feel the need for gears, and mpg drops to around 14

What if you drop it to 5th to keep it from lugging? I bet your efficiency would be better.

65 stock is like 1700rpm in 6th. Can’t imagine what 35s are spinning at.

I think I tried that but he torque converter still unlocks. If I'm on flat roads I'm good. But usually when I drive the 200 I'm going on a wheeling or camping trip so I deal with the hills. Oh at gps 65 I want to say I'm sitting around 1400 or so. I know at 50 I'm churning 1100 once I get into 6th

I’m having great success at 35mm positive. 275/80r18 narrower than most and no bmc necessary.
In a 17 I’d run either 255/85/17 or 275/80r17. Their is also a great 35x10.5x17.

Same experience for me on 285/75R17. I do wonder if it's at least in part the RG tire compound. I could believe a different compound (more silicone thus less rolling resistance) might improve the abysmal mileage. FWIW my mileage dropped a bit when I got new RGs, so maybe if you run them past 50k miles the mileage improves a bit?
