There are always a lot of considerations involved in choosing to go with 35 or above tires.
If you are running 35's (or more) on your 200, it would be great to hear a few details!

-Tire model
-Spec size (---/85/17, etc.
-What mods required to fit (obviously trimming...but how about relocation brackets, UCA, bumper, etc.)
-Fully Stuffable
-Wheel (and offset if you know it)

Bonus points for:

-ACTUAL mounted-on-vehicle measurements (more interested in diameter front-to-back [left/right facing the tire] more than bottom to top)
-Would you run them again, or a different tire & why.
-Photos always get bonus points! Triple points for profile, stance and stuffing photos!

Any of the above info would be super helpful!
Thanks!

Heh... I guess very few are running them... ;)

been looking into steppin' up from 34 to 35's. watching @Willy beamin, @MScruiser , @RS6tofj80 , @200 Custodian , @mcgaskins , nitro gear guys are rolling 35's also I believe.

Seems like options are Slee KDSS bracket relocation kit, or Tundra IFS swap to clear sway bars, mild to wild fender liner trimming, +25 to 50 mm offset, Timbren SES bumpstops to keep the tires from contacting the wheel wells when stuffed. In the rear, OME springs heavy, or soft with 10mm spacer.

would like to see pics and details from those that are actually living the life. 35's aint cheap!

I have a set of 35x12.5 Toyo Open Country II's mounted on Rock Warrior wheels. They've been sitting in my garage for a almost a year now. They rub on both the stock UCAs and the KDSS arms.
There're still sitting in the garage because I haven't fully committed to jumping thru all the necessary hoops to run them.
Probably, the easiest thing to do to eliminate both rubbing points would be to install a set of wheel spacers, but I'm sure that'll just move the rubbing to somewhere else.
I need get off the fence and either install them or pass them on to the next guy.

I have 35x12.50x17 Toyo AT2s on mine, and it has the mods in my sig. Most notably though are removed front mud flaps, Slee KDSS relocation, light fender well trimming up front, and Rock Warrior wheels. It drives very well, and the Toyos are much quieter than the 33" Duratracs they replaced. They measure out to just over 34" tall, but they are fairly wide and just barely rub on the KDSS arm at full lock. I'd prefer a tire that's a touch narrower but the same height if possible. I have another thread going with the tire choices I'm considering, but the thread didn't really go anywhere lol.

It looks very proportional and not even very tall when by itself:

But it looks pretty tall compared with over SUVs like my buddy's RRS:

I'm not seeing many talk about this, but in the 100-series, one of the key mods to 35's would be a mild body-lift. Something like a 1/2-1" would be sufficient to keep all the suspension travel possible.

It'd be interesting to do a 34" roll call too.

I'd be happy to be the "next guy" you pass them too.... :hillbilly: hehe

Your post is a perfect example of why I always hope people will post their ACTUAL size when mounted.

Buying a 35" that actually turns out to be 34" is fine...if expected...but very frustrating is not.

Thank you for posting details! Extra points for yoooo... :hillbilly:

34's right here! Well in theory 34's(285/70 R18's)

Well I think the rolling "35's" still carries some weight:) Most 35's or more like 34's, most 34's are more like 33's, so the 33 guys are still 2 inches shy of the 35 guys and an inch shy of us 34 guys:) All in theory of course:beer:

The quoted tire size and actual measured size are rarely the same as I'm sure most are aware. I had 37" KO2s on my last vehicle, and they only measured 35.5" mounted. That ended up being exactly what I wanted however, so it worked out great. I'd like a tire now that measures a true 34" and 10.5-11" wide. In theory the KO2 34x10.50x17 should be perfect, but they run soooo small they're not an option for me.

Since Ko2s tend to run small has anyone tried running 35x12.50x17 Ko2s on a rock warrior? I wonder what their true measurements would be?

Even their published size lists a mere 34.5 on a 10" tire. I assume it is well below that mounted. But again...this is why I always ask. Its frustrating when you are really trying to determine the limits of what you can fit.

At least in the case of the 35x12.5 Toyo's on Rock Warriors, the tire width is a bigger issue than the diameter.

Slee has 35s on his LX. No lift. I like my 34 KO2s. Looks great on mine!

Check out my thread here...I was comparing the 315/70/17 KO2, but you get the idea. I don't think it got much traction because I wasn't asking what the biggest tire I could fit stock is
