Anyone out there looking for a very solid, reliable '91 4Runner? I have taken the plunge with my dream vehicle, (85 FJ60), and my wife says I don't need two 4WD Toyota wagons in addition to a motorcycle and a family car.
I am the 4th adult owner of this 4Runner, have owned it for just over 2 years, and have had absolutely no mechanical issues. This vehicle spent most of its life (other than the past year) down in New Mexico, and was garaged for the most part. The interior is very, very clean, and the seats and dash look like new. 1988 Toyota 4Runner $1200 Missouri
I am looking to sell my 4Runner, I have only owned it for about 4 months, but I will disclose everything I know about it as I was mislead before purchasing it and know nobody likes that.
Its rusty, like a corner of the "bed" fell off it in the wal-mart parking lot rusty, but the frame seems to be good, no rust perf. The right side of the body is worse than the left.
It is a V6, I do not know the history on the headgaskets but it doesn't use any coolant, and runs good. I replaced the timing belt, water pump and both t-belt tensioner pulleys when I bought it, just over 1K miles ago.
It has an automatic transmission that works well in all forward gears, it doesn't like to shift into overdrive...

I have a 1990 Extra Cab Toyota truck for sale. I purchased this truck with the intent to do a 3.4 motor swap among other things and use it as my daily driver but just don't really have the time to do the swap and build the truck like I'd like to.
The truck is in pretty decent shape for it's age. The V6 motor has a slight knock (it could be an easy fix). The automatic transmission shifts good. It has a Line-X bed liner also.

its in ok shape for something 49 years old. doesnt run. was told it has a 283 v8 in it. 4 spd on the floor. long bed 2wd. front clip is in good shape. all glass is good. drivers door skin has seperated and would need replaced. needs restored. i was thinking of making a bbq out of the front clip but who needs a full size truck front end around for that. no title for keys. can e-mail pics.

The car is AWD, turbo and 5 spd. The original owner whacked some whitetails and it was totaled. I purchased it, pieced it back together and drove it for a while. It still needs some love but is a very quick car and handles great. I have a bunch of spare body and mech parts as well. There was no frame damage during the accident so I never had to align it. Listed at $3000.00. Located in Northeast Pennsylvania.

This is what I am willing to consider: any year FJ55, must have at least...Front Disc, PS, mech sound and be able to run good on inclines! If it's a 40, 60, 4runner or Mini P/U it MUST be some what BUILT! I will also consider a stock FZJ80.
The ideal :pig: would be fully built on 1 tons, v8, fuel injected, locked, 40" tires, bumpers, sliders, winch and a little ruff around the edges (so I won't feel bad when I dent it up:hillbilly:). I can pay a LITTLE boot if need be.

I recently redid the intake setup and cleaned up the
cooling system, wiring, and battery.
The car is a beast simply put. I get compliments from
strangers EVERY time I drive it. I can't think of a better
sounding car when the exhaust cut out is open. It sounds
so damn mean!!! I'm really gonna miss the sound of the
exhaust more then anything. With the exhaust cut out closed, it is a low rumble, and not intrusive or offensive at all. The paint for the age of the car is very good. The interior is also in excellent shape. I will update with more detailed pictures soon.
