It does have the usual LC rust but it is hidden under the paint (bubbles but lots of them). From 15 feet, it is great, we get thumbs up, waves and comments all the time.

I have decided to sell the FJ60 so I can buy a tacoma. I hate to do it but I often scout for my hunts way out in the middle of nowhere and get nervous about a 20 yr old truck. It has NEVER let me down and runs and looks great. It has a 1 1/2" shackle lift with brand new 33x10.50 BFG ATs, I just had the knuckles rebuilt and front and rear brakes done. I also fixed a couple of vacuum leaks and it sounds like a sewing machine. The body is in good shape with almost no rust at all. I am the second owner, I bought it from a preacher. I have quite a bit invested in the truck but would sell for $5000. I am located in Northern Colorado.

I am selling a 1987 FJ60 wagon for $600. I was going to fix it up, but, well, you know the story.
The truck and I are in the Columbus, Ohio area (on the Westerville end)
It is a 1987 FJ60 wagon with an Alpine CD player, A/C, and power steering. The body looks pretty decent, with a few dents and a few rust holes (esp. the back fenders).
THE BIG PROBLEM: The truck had a siezed motor when I bought it. I have unsiezed it with some cylindder oiling and pushing, it now runs. At a little under 10 mph, it has a bad knock that sounds like a failed bearing to me. It only runs well enough to put it on a trailer, NOT to drive home.

As the title says...1988 FJ62 for sale in Flint, Michigan...normal crust around the edges for a Michigan vehicle that's 17 years old. Frame is in good shape. Power Locks work to unlock but they don't all lock. Windows all go up and down on their own but a couple are slow. Buzz-bombed camo a few years ago. Needs some exhaust work. Run and drives excellent! Bought to use as an alternate wheeler for my wife...no longer having a wife so no need for it. Now has BGF A/T's on it in size 225. New gel-cell battery so it starts right up no matter how long it's been sitting. Motor runs strong with no knocking, shifts good. Great little truck, just doesn't have a purpose anymore and needs a good home. It only went wheeling once. 1500 obo.

Engine does NOT work, it seized almost 2 years ago due to an overheat. Mechanically is very sound, with only 92,800 miles. Chassis is kind of bad by the rear croos members right under the muffler. Interior is perfect and extremely clean. The driver seat has a little tear on the vinyl side. The Spring Over was done by me. Knuckles cut and rotated. Custom Hi steering. It has 62 axles under with the 4:11 gear ratio and open. The 60 is good for parts
and its located in Long Island, NY. Asking $ 750
Also have a set of Swampers SSR's 37x12,5x15 mounted and balanced on 15X8 LC. rims They are almost new (4,000 miles and one has 1,000 miles)
