Hi, I am the second owner I purchased it in August 2002. It has never been off road that I know of and was always garaged with the other owner and has been by me,too. The engine runs great and the tranny shifts smooth. All fluids have been replaced in August 2002 with new spark plugs and fuel, ram air filter and tranny filters, new PCV valve and replaced front bearings, New drivers side seat belt and new full set of floor mats. In June 2003 installed new old man emu medium duty suspension kit from man-a-fre that included leaf springs, shocks, anti-inversion shackles, greaseable spring pins, u-bolts, steering dampener also brake system all new Drums, rotos, fronthub bearings, pads and shoes, steel braided brake lines, and rebuilt master...
On eBay with $500 reserve. New alternator(Toyota), battery(old alternator did the battery in), home made sliders(2x4 stock), small Swamper TSL's, 1 new Longfield. Frame is probably 85% with surface rust, no rust through, although the bumper supports might be getting weak. Body is spent, but patched to keep it legal. Good tranny, strong engine. Koni shocks, about 3" lift. Not pretty, but never failed to get me there.

This isn't mine, nor am I affiliated. I found this in the local trade express (I am on the central coast of california), and think it is a good deal. There is no picture on the website, but there was one in the actual magazine. It has white crawler rims (wider than stock), and looks to be 31, 32 in tires. With how high it was sitting, it either has good stock springs, shackles, or an add-a-leaf. Looked clean for the age and the price, don't know mileage. It is red, with what looks like the tan interior. Here is a quote of the ad with a link:

I am open to any 60/62 truck with a mint or near mint body/frame. I would prefer later years. I want to swap a 3B and transmission into it. Of course if the motor is poor isn't an issue. Good interior is a plus.

I bought the LX450 that I posted about on the 80's board, so now the 60 has to go. It pains me greatly to part with it, but I can't justify two gas hogs. Here's the particulars:

88 fj62, red, 200k-ish, stock.
repaint, not bad not great.
no rust.
few dents, dings, lower rocker and the roof. Roof also has some funky ripples right above the rain gutter on the PS, not sure whats up with that, almost looks like maybe some bondo on the roof.
interior, pretty typical, torn driver seat, dirty floor, will clean up pretty good I think
mechanical. Motor runs well, runs at 190deg-ish, trany shifts good(shifter loose however) new alt. rear brakes need adjustment at...
you will like the 100...............we will prolly end up with another 100 this year.........and yes I GOTTA sell some of my crap also.....just to get it out of the way ;)
