1990 FJ62 has been extremely well maintained first by my father and then by myself (bought in 1991 w/ very low mileage). No leaks. Never failed us. Selling an 89 FJ62 located northeast PA near Paragon and Rausch Creek off road parks. Transmission slips on this truck. 231K on the odometer but the engine sounds great doesn't smoke and makes no bad noises. I believe the transfer case and four wheel drive stuff all works fine. has Aisin manual hubs. Dark gray with gray interior. Power windows and mirrors. I'm looking to buy an 89 or 90 FJ62 (rather not have an '88-want the 3-point seat belts from the back) with grey interior and power windows and locks...I thought all 88-90 62's came with power locks and windows but saw a couple on eBay without.
The closer to Chicago the better, condition is not a factor...vehicle will only be donating its power accessories to my FJ60 to make er a little more civilized.

Looking to buy an FJ60. I'd like as little as possible for my price range of course. I need something with 150-175K miles on it. Doesn't need to be pristine, I can't afford pristine. I have about $3k to deal with. Must be able to be a daily driver and handle a 1500 mile week long trip without hesitation. 10 days after I finished the motor swap some old guy pulled out in front of me with his grama car. It needs some body pieces up front. I really didn't care that much as I was planning to build my own bumper anyway. Now, I'm a poor college kid and need money really badly. I have more than 2G just in the motor swap. Anyway, The first person that brings me 1,800 bucks drives it home.
It needs a power steering fiting (leaking) and a carb tune...
Here's another truck for sale......an 85 FJ60 that someone put a lot of work into. Clear PA title, truck price $3300. I bought this truck as part of a package deal and got a real surprise when I got it home as it is a pretty neat truck. Has appx 233K miles but the engine runs very strong, no bad noises and no noticable smoke. The engine has been completely desmogged and equipped with Downey fuel injection. The guy also installed a neat commercially available wiring harness and coil that look neat and has all the features you could want, like the plug for diagnostics and the check engine light. Neat fuel injection installation even has the expensive Downey aluminum air cleaner. Runs a GM throttle body and the GM ECU is tucked nicely...
