$12,500 To the Mud Community. With my new 80 I really won't be using it that much, only running it a few times year doesn't seem right. The list of mods will follow, the interior is in decent shape but has the driver seat side rip and one on the bottom front of the rear bench.
1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 (218420 Original Miles) Passenger A-Pillar has some rust bubbles near the roof rest of vehicle is clean. Body shop said just looks like surface rust and isn't in the pillar just above at the roof.

I'm selling my 1985 FJ60 with the original motor freshly rebuilt. So fresh it's not actually installed just yet, but should be finished in the next week. Also put in a brand new clutch from JT Outfitters. The carb was a rebuild that I bought that has a few thousand miles on it, if that. Tires are BFG AT 32x11.50. Interior is in terrific shape.

He said he can possibly deliver it (within a few states), etc. I haven't seen it, but I already offered a bumper swap + cash, He'd like the sell the truck complete. maybe someone looking to do a swap of some sort? I put it up here as a favor to the seller, I have no affiliation, nor have I seen the truck. I do not know if the Rear bumper is ARB, as I can't find any info on them, he said the PO put them on.

I'm looking for a FJ60 that runs good enough to be a daily driver. I am willing to look anywhere near North Carolina (where I live) or Idaho (where my father lives). Anywhere that is within a weekend's drive.
As a begger that can't be a chooser I am willing to look at just about anything. However, if I was to state my preferences it would be silver and again able to be a daily driver. That is it. The more work done, obviously the better.
Also, if you are looking for a family car cuz you're in "that" situation, I am selling a 98 Dodge Stratus. So maybe a trade and then some cash could be arranged to pay the diffrence...

I got this about a year ago. It's my second fj62, and I love it, but I cant afford to keep it any longer. Needs some body work and paint on usual places, (fenders and rocker panels) drivers side is the worst. Engine runs great.

speedo stopped working last week (assuming its the cable, just havent had time to take care of it)

I put leather and heated seats in it and a mess of other service items.
Tinted glass, keyless entry, Lexus deck and so on.
Toyota service includes rebuilt front end (complete) radiator, calipers, brake, muffler, AC pump, dist, MINT interior, tow hitch never used (when I sold it), Spare never on the ground (when I had it), hoses ect, ect, ect.

OK...1988 FJ 62 is up for sale.
The good:
192k...engine is great, tranny shift very smooth. Rebuilt front axle (3 months) New fan clutch, brakes, exhaust. Perfect leather Interior, perfect headliner (interior is an easy 9 out of 10) Drives great...and will be a great wheeler. Tires are about 90%...all stock. Ice cold AC.
Bad:
Rusty...rear 1/4s and rockers need some trimming. rear frame section is very rust...but solid. A few pin hole rust spots here an there.
The 4 High solenoids are out...so just 4 low and 2 high. Didn;t want to spend $300 for the new onesand was planning the valves for $30 instead.
Other than that is has been my reliable daily driver since this summer. I would drive it anywhere...no questions asked.

I think it is about that time to consider selling my old silver 1985, FJ60 Landcruiser. The vehicle is still very strong body wise, clean and rust free here in Tucson, Az.
The vehicle roughly has 146,000 miles. The engine is seriously seeing some fatigue. However it still runs well. I was considering doing a diesel conversion to keep it on the road. I think it would be a awesome project for someone who has the time for a diesel project or a engine rebuild. I was considering having the time to do it. However I have no time or energy to do so. The price is totally negotiable,and no offer will be refused. The vehicle has a plethera of aftermarket parts such as: A bullbar bumper made from Stout Products, a handmade welded rear bumper...
Well, after much though it has to go, to many projects and not enough time!!!
Specs: 1984 FJ60, brown, with Rhino lined interior, Corboeu buckets, 4spd trans, Chevy 350, SOA convesion, 3.73 gears, heat works great, A/C!!!!! Has brand new BFG Mud Terrains, 35x12.5x15, on new 15x10.5 Rock Crawler wheels. ARB front bumper, and custom swing out rear tire carrier.
Recent parts, and maintanace: Complete tune up, plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, timing adjusted, oil, and filter, gear oil, coolant flush, new thermostat, water neck!
What needs attention: Front drive shaft needs to be cut, and installed. I have the driveshaft, and a new set of OEM bolts, nuts and washers.

This vintage 1987 Landcruiser is a must-see—all original, in good condition, with no rust, clean title, current smog and paperwork dating back to original owner. Cruiser runs perfectly, can be used as a daily driver, and starts when you ask it to. Recent overhaul to engine, new clutch, engine completely gone over and all minor issues (leaks, etc.) fixed. With only 185,000 miles, this engine has a lot of life in it, and doesn’t present any problems. Four wheel drive engages perfectly and works like a charm. Recently purchased 31-inch BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires. Interior completely clean, with all original seats still perfectly fine and void of rips. Here's the skinny:
PO rebuilt the motor...I don't have any paperwork...but the compression was 165-175 across the board...and the block looks like it's been rebuilt.
PO rebuilt the tranny/t-case. There is a slight leak from the speedo-cable output on the t-case, but both feel really good(tight).
PO had the truck repainted and all the body rust fixed. I can only find small spots of body rust...most are pictured.
PO had the frame rails(and lower body) coated in some sort of "rhino lining type stuff".
Frame rust is minimal.
PO had the rear axle rebuilt.
I rebuilt the steer knuckles
I changed the front wheel bearings
I replaced the tie-rod ends
I replaced the steering damper(Rancho...
